Did you know that they just recently settled the lawsuit with that hot dog guy?

You know that thing in 2002 when Deryck threw the weiner at the dude at the baseball game? He sued them and they JUST settled it. 5 years!

Anyway... maybe Halifax will see Sum 41 this year because Dave was the reason the Halifax publicity people hate them. lol.

They better come here in September/October and not during the summer because I'll be in BC during the summer.

Deryck, since the guitar is a Squier, were corners cut to make it the low price that it is? I own 2 Squiers at this point and I'm happy with one of them. But I'm wondering if your signature guitar will be a basic starter guitar or if it will appeal to intermediate players as well. I'd hate to spend $300 to find that it lacks in quality. I was hoping maybe you could shed some light on this. Thanks! I can't wait for the new record.

the guitar is designed around the guitar that i play live. it does sound and play great. it is just made to be affordable for beginners as well as more experienced players. i always believe a guitar only sounds as good as the person playing it. i don't play expensive guitars live but i make them sound good. it's not the identicle specs as a high end fender, but it's the closest thing you will get to my sound without having to pay $2000 for it. when it comes out in stores just try it out and see if it works for you. if it doesn't than just go for something else. the purpose of this guitar is to be an awesome sounding guitar that young people can afford. i'm not trying to make money off of it, that's why it's priced so low. i just want people to be able to play a cool ass guitar that sounds great. and in my opinion it does sound great. or i wouldn't want to put it out.

Deryck Whibley Is God
Aka Curtis, who is a myspace user and in Sum 41's top 8, messaged me saying this about the new touring guitarist:

Basically his name is Tom, the band has known him for awhile, Toms band toured with Sum 41 for awhile, his a little older than Deryck, Cone and Steve, but he looks young and he just went down and played some songs for them and he got the part. (All this info is directly from Cone to me so its not bullshit)
