So, wait - that would mean that none of these supposed albums are actually albums, if that's technically what an album is. ...Riiight? Meaning that, technically, we'd be listening to LP's... right? Am I getting this lmfao? It's pretty early here. I knew about the whole A/B thing (hence the term "b-side"). Actually, Unchained Melody was a b-side, but at some party with Clive Davis and a bunch of other famous people in the music industry, they flipped the record over to the b-side and played Unchained Melody. People liked it so much, THAT was released as the single, and look at what came from it. After that, though, they only put instrumentals on the back to avoid having the same thing happen. Apparently Clive Davis was pissed. [/side story] Sooo anyways, technically these new "albums" coming out aren't actually albums, but LP's? Lmfao I have a feeling that's wrong, but whatever.

technically yes , but I made a mistake the first singles made into albums were 78 s not 45 s .
LP s , records , Albums - it doesn`t make much difference , its like music BOXSETS called Box sets because they were sold in a Box even when sold digitally without a box.

When I was little, my parents had this old vinyl record player. They used to play 60's rock music that I would dance too (:| yeah). Sooo yeah I remember vinyl records. There's actually a record player, like, 10 feet away from me.

They're pretty cool, in an old vintage sort of way.

I just found some old 78 s that belonged to my dad , my brother used to get lots of 45 singles but now we don`t have a working record player . im not sure if they even sell them in normal shops any more or if I would have to look in a specialist DJ shop.
