DERYCK WHIBLEY does not have the last name Lavigne. That's not how it works in most cases.

Avril Lavigne has the last name Whibley.

So Deryck's name is Deryck Jayson Whibley.

And Avril's name is Avril Ramona Lavigne Whibley.

DERYCK is from the band Sum 41 and their first hit was "Fat Lip". Sum 41 is popular pretty much worldwide. Their biggest fanbases are in Asia and North America, but there are pretty big gatherings in Australia, Europe, and South Africa.
