We have 541,358 members in Avril Lavigne's communitty on Orkut [like ms, but way bigger here.]
Every 5 seconds people bump a thread like "Avril is single." "Avril and Deryck break up." "Did Deryck cheat?"...
Like here, the moderators are closing all those topics, but it doesn't matter, because everytime a new one is opened, because the news are in Yahoo, Terra and all the gossip sites here.
The other day a boy posted in Deryck's community if he had a kid. People were like "he did? with whom? It wasn't with Avril..."

^^yeah. People in Avril's community acted so worse than people in Sum's [which impressed me, because Sum fans normally are the ones who doesn't like her.]
People were like: "great news! Now we'll have UMS 2" or "good thing she got rid of him, she deserves better." and things like that. A shame.

On Sum's all the comments were "that's bullshit. they were together during the tour and Sum 41 is still doing good..."

^Good. For the first time, I'm proud to be a Sum 41 fan.

I think it's nice that as Sum 41 fans, even after everything that Deryck's done in the past, we still have faith in his character when he's accused of doing something really wrong. When people were saying that Deryck was faking his injury, nearly all of the band's fans rushed to his defense. Now that he's being accused of cheating on Avril, all the fans who know about it are calling it out as bullshit.

Makes me happy. Sum 41 fans have a rare loyalty. I hope the guys don't ever do anything to make it die.

I like more Underclass Hero, mostly because it made me fan of Sum 41, although there are some "poor" songs, like So Long Goodbye or My Poubelle, but globally is a very good album. Chuck is great, is "heavier" than Underclass Hero, and it's sounds quite mature to me, compare to previous albums. I like all Sum 41, I believe they've got better with age, tasting new sounds but keeping some of their esence. And I believe they're nice guys, and Deryck has matured a lot, left his drugs problems behind, and now he's a better man.

Can't wait for next album

Can we stop talking about them breaking up? It's non of our business really, it's not like we can do anything about it. Next to that I don't really see them breaking up. (if they did I would probably cry about it )


Does anyone knows anything about a new album or other new projects? They had been off tour for a while, they could do at least something atm (next to getting married, of course )
