The little smile she does at the start is so sweet but then she didn't seem to into the performance. She looked nervous every now and then.

If the thing about her performance being changed last minute was true then that would explain her not seeming too sure of her moves and it really not being much of a performance.

Britney's new stuff isn't all that bad...I heard snippets of songs and thought it was painful to listen to, but her VMA performance was good...minus the lip-syncing.
