You also have to realize, they have to ensure her safety. Any one who isn't famous is not going to have 100+ photographers running after their ambulance. They aren't going to have news teams doing a live feed over their house. They won't have video people have shot through the windows of the ambulance. Not to mention the regular fans who want to see what is going on. They have to hike up their security to make sure no one is going to attempt something. I watched the live feed from the beginning of the month when all the craziness went down. It was insane how many people were just waiting for her to come out. There were two helicopters with live feeds and this was on the news.

Who else has to deal with that?

On the way home, a paparazzo gives her some "short cut" advice to get to her house at the Summit on Mulholland Drive through the mountains.
Britney gets scared. She says she's "dizzy" and needs the help of a photog to turn her car around.
Then, when she gets back in the car, she asks another paparazzo to ride back home with her.
Oh, and it's her first day with her new Benz and she's already got it a mess.

Spears Suicide Attempt???
The police showed up at Britney Spears' house AGAIN on Wednesday night. Helicopters, dozens and dozens of paparazzi. Almost 100. Britney's mom. Alli. They all were there.
The scene was chaos.
It's so painfully obvious that she needs some SUBSTANTIAL help.
We hope she gets it - soon.
You know, on the bright side of things: if Britney DID attempt to harm herself or threaten to, then her family CAN have her committed and get the psychiatric treatment that will save her life.

Britney To Be Committed!!!!
After another dramatic evening on Wednesday, Britney is finally going to get the help she needs.
A psychiatrist she has been seeing, who was at her home last night, is intent on having her committed AS WE TYPE.
The shrink called police after growing concerned with Spears' deteriorating behavior.
An ambulance arrived at her house at approximately 1:00 A.M. Pacific.
This truly is heartbreaking.
Thankfully Britney is okay, and thankfully her children are far away from all this drama.


Britney Hospitalized!!!! Put Under Psychiatric Hold!!!!!! AGAIN!!!!!!

An ambulance left Britney Spears' house around 1:20 A.M this morning. The windows were covered and a police convoy of what seems like DOZENS of cops lead the way.
Britney was in the ambulance and she arrived at UCLA Medical Center around 1:35 A.M.
Following the ambulance were none other than Lynne Spears and Adnan Ghalib - in the same car.
Britney is going to be put under a 5150 psychiatric hold at the hospital for 72 hours. Hopefully her treatment will be extended.
Spears has been under the treatment of a psychiatrist, who was at her home Wednesday night and placed a call to the authorities, which triggered Brit's hospitalization.
Britney had not slept in days and her shrink was concerned for her deteriorating condition.
This is all just so tragic.
Our thoughts are with Britney and her family.
Hopefully the stars will align and she will finally get better now, once and for all.

Power struggle!
There has been some tension at UCLA Medical Center this morning over who is calling the shots with regards to being the official liaison for Britney.
Is it Osama Lutfi or her parents????
Both want control, only one party can have it.
After Spear's last hospitalization earlier this month, through his creepy mind controlling ways, Osama was able to get Brit to communicate to her lawyers that HE is the one that should be making medical decisions for her.
WTF?????
Thankfully, though, he was not given power of attorney and the hospital is now cooperating with Britney's parents.
However, this issue over who has control may go to a judge to decide.

Britney: Popping Adderall and Chugging Laxatives!

Brit Brit may have been calm while she waited for the ambulance to take her to the hospital early this morning, but once there - all hell broke loose!
Spears had a big outburst, hurling swearwords at her parents and staff.

Brit Brit's English pap boyfriend, Adnan Ghali, has reportedly been hiding a secret first wife! Not counting the one he's currently divorcing.
He married some California chick in 2001. That first marriage lasted a total of 85 days.
The gal's parents didn't even know they were wed!
Adnan, originally from Birmingham, England, is currently being divorced by second wife Azlynn Berry after watching his very public romance with Spears.
He was in his first marriage at the same time he applied for a US Green Card. Legal experts say that if he did not tell Uncle Sam about the first marriage he could be DEPORTED!

Meanwhile, TMZ is reporting that Jamie & Lynne are the ones calling the shots in the hospital and advising the doctors on Spears' treatment.
Lutfi, for his part, is just publicly badmouthing Britney's parents.

Britney's parents, Jamie & Lynne Spears are heading to court TODAY to officially and legally take control of their daughter's treatment.
Osama Lutfi's pussy is about to explode!
Jamie and Lynne Spears are divorced but providing a united front in trying to make sure that their beloved daughter gets better.
Brit's parents are said to be concerned about the welfare of their daughter and upset because Osama - her "manager" - is trying to call the shots.
Jamie and Lynne are going to ask the court to establish a conservatorship, which is done for people whose personal health and welfare is gravely at risk.
The conservatorship which would allow both Jamie and Lynne to make medical decisions on behalf of Britney. It would also allow them to control Britney's financial affairs.
However, Jamie and Lynne want an independent co-conservator appointed — someone unrelated to the family — to avoid even an appearance they are interested in spending Britney's money

Osama Lutfi is continuing his misguided war of words against the Spears family.
While Lynne and crew have remained tight-lipped about him, Britney's "manager" won't stop talking trash.

While the mentally unstable Spears continues to recuperate at the UCLA psych ward, her parents sought an emergency court hearing - and won.
Jamie Spears and a lawyer have been named conservators of Britney's estate. What they say goes.
Osama Lutfi is out of the picture. Legally! Britney's parents got a restraining order against him and he can not get anywhere near Spears.
Pops Jamie and the attorney have temporary power over Spears's finances, in addition to securing her residence, changing its locks, and vacating any persons living there. They also are allowed to restrict and limit visitors to Britney, as well as employ security guards to protect her.

Osama Lutfi just won't shut up!
Britney's manager, who's had a restraining order taken out against him by her parents, continues his ugly smear campaign against Jamie & Lynne Spears.
In an interview with Us Weekly, he says:
"Oh boy, her family is crazy!
It's funny because that's what the doctors say when they meet the family. They always come back and say, ‘You know, [her problems] are inherited, right?’
It’s just so sad. It's shared equally from both of her parents.
[Britney doesn't] trust anything that her family says? Not a goddamn thing.
They show up to the house like hillbillies, texting me [earlier this week]. The Los Angeles Police Department were called to Britney's house on Friday after her parents discovered several items missing.
Lap top? Sex tapes? Yes! Yes!
After Spears' father Jamie won legal control over Brit Brit at an emergency hearing Friday, he and ex-wife Lynne returned to the house "shocked" to find valuable items of their daughter's "had been stolen."
They called the cops and filed a report.
Spears' folks believe that items were taken after their daughter was taken to the UCLA Medical Center early Thursday morning.
Gesssh, who do you think would have had access to Brit's house that might want to remove a few things???

Now that he's been granted conservatorship of his daughter, Jamie Spears can change the locks of her house and remove anyone who is staying there until the next hearing - this Monday.
And, sources close to Brit's "manager" Osama Lutfi tell us he will contest the conservatorship and put up a fight in court.

Sam Lufti to make medical decisions for Britney

There's nothing like waking up in the morning and finding out Britney Spears went insane again while you were sleeping. As I'm sifting through the deluge of info, it appears Sam Lufti is was the point man with the doctors who are taking care of Britney. During her last trip to the hospital, she signed some form stating she doesn't want her parents involved in any type of medical emergency, according to TMZ:

We're told her dad had gone ballistic back then, screaming and swearing at Lutfi -- even pushing him -- in front of Britney. As to what paperwork was signed, the cleanest thing would be if Britney signed a durable power of attorney, giving someone power to make medical decisions on her behalf in an emergency. We are told no such document was signed, but somehow Britney made it clear she wanted Lutfi to make those decisions.

Obviously her parents have called in all kinds of lawyers to get this mess straightened out. In the meantime, E! Online is reporting that Sam is the one who contacted Britney's psychiatrist to get the ball rolling. Plans had been laid for days to get Britney hospitalized and the LAPD was ready for the call:

Lutfi was said to be key in making it happen, even over the objections of the singer's recently reunited mother, Lynne.

"The scene inside the house was chaos," the insider continued. "Lynne was shouting at police. She didn't want them to take Britney away at first. It was a zoo."

Here's an interesting little item that I remembered from yesterday on TMZ. Britney and Sam got into a loud screaming match in front of the paps over who would drive her new Mercedes Benz. The Benz that Sam made her go out and buy while her parents were in town. He was spotted driving the car to the hospital this morning. It seems like Britney is Sam's goose that lays the golden eggs. As long as he keeps her in the hospital, he still gets to have McMuffins. Or maybe an omelet. Western style. I guess what I'm trying to say is, I haven't had breakfast yet.

Britney Spears supposedly told doctors at UCLA she's on Adderall and has been taking ten laxatives a day. Wow, on top of all that Starbucks? That's pretty gross. Anyway, she also laid down some heavy accusations against her mom Lynne, according to TMZ:

We're also told, when she was admitted, Britney accused her mom of "sleeping with my boyfriend." She wasn't specific on who she was referring to.

We're also told that for a time she was hurling profanities at her parents and staff.

Britney Spears gets her own motorcade, airspace

While no one is surprised that Britney Spears made another trip to the psych ward, what is surprising is that the LAPD and FAA already had previously arranged plans to facilitate Britney's magical journey to cuckoo town. Ever since her last meltdown, plans were laid to expedite an inevitable return to the hospital. (You're welcome, California taxpayers!) Britney's lack of sleep was the trigger for today's excursion, according to People:

"No one thought this would happen this soon, but it was clear if she stayed up for more than three days she'd have to get sent, since that could cause real damage. The last time she slept was Saturday."

Adds the source: "The motorcade and everything was planned, it was already in the works to have them block off the road and airspace. It worked out perfectly."

If I was a pilot flying overhead and found out I had to clear the airspace for Britney Spears, the shit would hit the fan, my friend. I'd get on the intercom and inform the passengers that this is their captain speaking and we're about to make an unscheduled landing into Britney Spears pool. And by landing I mean crash. After a thunderous round of applause, I'd guzzle the rest of my Big Gulp full of whiskey (Thank you, stewardess) then lock the plane into a nosedive. I don't want to say I'm a hero, but Batman better have an extra set of balls in his utility belt to pull off moves like these.

Britney Spears is 'gravely disabled'

Britney Spears has apparently been labeled “gravely disabled” by UCLA doctors which means she’s a candidate for involuntary commitment. Apparently she’s unable to take care of basic needs such as food and shelter. Really? Because she’s constantly out to eat or checking into hotels. I’m no psychiatrist but I’m pretty sure that’s food and shelter. Anyway, Britney is considered to be in a “manic state” and was hurling accusations at her mom which TMZ elaborated on:

We first reported that Britney accused her mother of sleeping with her boyfriend. Now we have more. We're told Britney screamed, "The only reason she's admitting me is because she wants to be alone with her boyfriend! She wants to sleep with my boyfriend!!" Britney never said exactly who she was talking about.

When Brit calmed down, she talked about her kids, how much she misses them and how it's unfair that she doesn't have them.

But fear not fellow Britney lovers! Britney is seeing the best of psychiatrists, according to People:

"She's an excellent clinician and an excellent psychiatrist," says Harold Young, the clinical director at the Maple Counseling Center in Beverly Hills, where Spears's psychiatrist Dr. Deborah Nadel worked for about five years.

In the meantime, Sam Lufti has been making In-N-Out Burger runs for Britney. Can’t acquire food, huh? Britney Spears was taken from her home early this morning in an ambulance. She’s currently checked into UCLA for mental evaluation, according to People:

"She went willingly. It was like something in her heart was telling her she should go. She knew something was wrong," confidant Sam Lutfi tells PEOPLE.

However Sam Lufti may no longer be speaking for Britney. TMZ is reporting that Britney’s parents are taking control of the situation and are working with a judge to get control of Britney:

We're told Britney's mother, father and brother have been "working closely with the LAPD for weeks" to get her back in for psychiatric care. There is now a dogfight between Britney's family and Sam Lutfi over who will make medical decisions, however, that fight is now put on hold because the judge now makes the call.

Apparently it was Britney Spears' new psychiatrist who called the ambulance last night to get the ball rolling. There was no suicide attempt which had previously been rumored. Britney is back on 5150 hold and this time her parents are looking to it extend it for 14 days. As of this post, there has been no sign of Dr. Phil. He’s probably still firing up the Phil-jet.

Britney Spears is reportedly on medication for bipolar disorder. She has seen several psychiatrists and has one that visits her regularly. Friends claim Britney does well on the medication, but when she feels normal she quits taking it causing her to go batshit. However, one professional tells TMZ the medication is just flat-out not working:

That same professional tells TMZ, "She's really trying. Whether it works -- we'll have to see." That person also says it's extremely frustrating when the media shows video of Britney out on the town acting crazy, adding, "She has a disease. Sometimes when you see her she's in the middle of an episode. It's like mocking someone with Down syndrome."

Wow. Did that person just say Britney Spears has Down syndrome? That’s a bit harsh. To people with Down syndrome that is. They try their best and are surprisingly great with kids. Britney on the other hand; well, she’s great with, uh, I dunno, socks?

The father of Britney Spears has taken over the troubled pop star's assets and finances after her estate was effectively placed in limbo in a US court.
The ruling is designed to care for people deemed by a court to be incapable of looking after themselves or managing their finances.
It comes a day after Spears was taken to a psychiatric hospital.
This is Spears' second hospital stay this year. Spears has seen her personal life spin out-of-control since she filed for divorce from ex-husband Kevin Federline in November 2006.
She has spent time in rehab and been embroiled in a custody battle with Federline over their two children.
She has been ordered by a court to undergo random drug testing, and in early January was also hospitalised after going into a fit of hysterics when representatives of Federline tried to retrieve the children from a visit with Spears.

Poor girlie. I blame her mom. I always think bad mothers don't always make bad mothers, but good mothers almost always create good moms. I was always turned off by britney just cuz of her mom. it's so sad that someone's so desperate for their kid to be famous that they go bankrupt supporting their kid's singing carrer which consists of dancing around half naked to make up for being a bad singer. It's so sad. I wond
