It's truely sad and ridiculous now that's getting healthy again and on the road to recovery, that they're so desperate to find something to talk about.

I just LOVE that she doesn't give the paps the light of day anymore. Like she was 4 years ago. She HATED the paparazzi. I remember a picture where she threw coffee on them. Hahaha SUCKAS.

Britney Still In Trouble
Los Angeles city attorneys filed charges against Britney Spears last year after she was involved in a hit and run accident, which was gloriously captured on tape by the ever-present Spears paparazzi brigade.
Brit Brit ended up settling the case with the owner of the car she hit, however, she was caught driving without a valid California driver's license at the time of the incident, even though she had been living in LA for years.
Charges were then filed against her for lack of the license.
Now, prosecutors have just refused to drop the charges against her.
It was decided to postpone her case until Wednesday, June 18th, when they hope by that time Spears will no longer have a conservator.
City attorneys are pushing to charge Spears with misdemeanor charges, but her lawyers want the charges reduced to only an infraction. Her current attorney, Charlie Unger, said Britney "seems to be getting her life together. She has nothing on her record other than the infraction-type tickets we all get. She has a crime free life and that’s how we want to keep it. We’re still hoping we can work this all out."
The city attorney however does not agree. LA attorney Michael Amerian said Spears hit and run charge had already been dropped and that going after the driving without a license charge was the fairest way to treat her. He also stated that they were in no way affected by her being a celebrity.
Hey, and in the grand scheme of things, misdemeanor charges in a case of driving without a valid license is MINOR in comparison to the major drama that went on in Brit's life in the past year and a half

Did you see this week's SouthPark episode? It was brillant. It was about how people are only obssessed with her because they want her to die. Like the human sacrafices of old, except now, thoes kinds of rituals are not socially acceptable, so we have to "will" her to kill herself. She goes to SouthPark CO. for some relaxation and the boys realize that one pic of her is worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. "Sweet." They tell her her kids are back at their house and they have a camera, so she goes and when her kids are not there, she freekin shoots off the top half of her head with a shot gun. The metaphore being that britney spears is a person without a brain and we're still obsessed. In the end she dies and they make her look so pathetic. All chubbs with a big ass and no head. It was hillarious.

Jamie Spears, Britney`s father, will take away the singer`s car keys for good.
The court has awarded him rights to sell some of Britney`s 7 cars. His attorneys said that it would cost too much to keep all the cars and that by selling some of them, a large part of Britney`s assets would be preserved.
The troubled singer owns two white Mercedes, a white Mini Cooper and a black Audi, among others, People writes.
Jamie Spears and his attorneys will control Britney`s assets until the next hearing which is scheduled for July 31 this year.

Hollywood Nightclub Bans Britney Spears
Troubled singer Britney Spears has been banned from a Hollywood nightclub because of the "media circus" that follows her. Vincent Laresca, the co-owner of West Hollywood hot spot Villa, has told the singer she will be refused entry if she attempts to attend the club in the future.
He tells the New York Times, "She came twice, but we don't want the media circus that would create."
It is not the first time Spears has been refused entry - she was banned from West Hollywood's Hustler store after she stripped down to her underwear in November last year.

Sources say the troubled chart star is bored of being stuck indoors - after dad Jamie ordered her to stay out of the limelight in a last-gasp bid to help her get better.
He has told her she can’t go to nightclubs - or hang out with her paparazzi pals. But the restrictions are driving Brit crazy - and she is desperate to leave her home.
A friend of the Toxic star said that Britney recently sent a text message to them saying: “I’m so bored.
“I hate my life.”
The friend went on: “She also sent a text saying, ‘They keep taking my phone away. If my dad knows I’m talking to you he’s going to be upset.’
“She seems to genuinely miss the craziness. Sad as it is, she loved that life.”
Dad Jamie Spears won control of his famous daughter’s multi-million dollar estate earlier this month. He vowed to help his daughter, who spent time in a US psychiatric ward at the start of the year, beat her demons and win back custody of her two sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

“She’ll change three or four times on days when she’s not leaving the house.” Some of those clothes include “fat clothes” that Britney likes to wear when she’s feeling bloated or out of shape.
Friends say the 26-year-old also keeps a secret closet stocked with these loose-fitting garments for just these occasions.
“Her life may seem out of control, but the inside of her house is very ordered,” the pal told OK! magazine. “She’s very clean and has no clutter.”

It was amazing. A lot of people are arguing that they were making fun of her. I actually don't think they were.. at least that wasn't their point. They were really making fun of the frenzy around her. I think they just used the blowing off her head bit to be an extreme. I really liked the episode. I love how they continue to write these shows that are still funny but have much more meaning behind them than a silly cartoon.
