i still haven't heard the new album...i don't like her enough to pirate her music. i'll wait to buy it. but i am excited

the other day at a used cd store i found a copy of alanis doing an mtv unplugged performance...she sang pretty much all of jagged little pill. really sweet cd.

I'll type up the review shortly. First have to upload the pictures and shit (yes we were allowed to take pics )

As for now I'll just say that it was AMAZING but even saying that doesn't do justice to the brilliance that was last night.

So fortunate that she shares these with us.

I love this particular chorus of 'Orchid'

First things first, she was hands down PHENOMENAL!!! Words can't describe it.
I was standing first row so it was a breathtaking experience. She even looked and smiled at me Divine moment right there.

It was a half hour set, a bit disappointed by that at first but she made up for it. It was really filled and she just plain delivered. Her voice was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Even on 'Underneath' it was better than any live performance I saw of it like EVER.

The songs she performed were, 'Hands Clean' (loved that she opened with that one) 'Underneath', 'Hand In My Pocket' (she played the harmonica, EPIC!!!), 'So Unsexy' (fucking fantastic, didn't expect that one AT ALL!) and 'Incomplete' (lol I was totally singing along and Jason and David (her guitarists) totally saw it and it was fun haha, cause not a lot of people know that song ) And then she "left" only to come back and she made a joke about it going, "Encores, why even go off stage, why just not stay" it was hilarious. And so she obviously sang 'Ironic' next and she took the mic and pointed it to the crown so we could sing along it was awesome!!!

Then she really left, to much of her disfavour (but she had to go to an event in Brussels.) She loved it here (Belgium) she said and will be back in August and I of course will be attending

It was a really great night. I adore Alanis even more know. It was also nice to witness her doing her psychobabbling before singing the songs. lol no seriously, it was a complete delight. As I just love hearing her speak so eloquently like she always does.

I'll upload the pics tomorrow I promise. But I've been busy all day.





Oh yeah the best part was after the guitarists packed up their equipment I threw my demo (I wanted to give it to Alanis but she went by so quickly) at David Levita!! I'm a singer, I never mentioned this before. And as I threw it to him he was surprised and he juggled to catch it but it fell on the stage haha, you had to see it. And the crowd went "Oh" and everyone looked at me, and I went with my eyes like, I know bitches
So he took the cd looked at the cover and gave this gesture like, cool I got it (that he knows it's a cd with my music) and he smirked and took it with him. I was so fucking ecstatic. Just the fact that ALANIS could be listening to my music is just too surreal to even comprehend.
