Minor Threat
Well, I won't bother posting too many bands that I like, but since I saw Rancid, and Bad Religion, I was hoping maybe a few of you have heard of Minor Threat. Maybe not. They lasted from 1980 to 1984. Made a few EP's. Didn't last very long, but their music was some of the best hardcore music written. They began what's known now as "hardcore" and they were the first band to bring on "straight edge" before it was called that. Regardless of any of that, the fact is, is that their music is great, and if you have an awesome record shop where you live, go buy one of their cd's and give them a listen.
