I don't know what to think about new album... I've listen it twice, but I don't have opinion about it... some song are really catchy, but some are...ummm.. completly diffrent than I've expected.... but it's just a matter of time and probably I will listen "Minutes to Midnight" again and again

his voice didnt really chanced a lot, its still chester it only got better in the screaming parts, but to be really honest..
im not sure what to tink of the album... too many slow songs for me.. im afraid i will get tired of it.. and it really sucks, im not happy at the moment, im a fan for 7 years and waited patiently for the new album,a nd then to get this.. i hope i will start liking it, its not that im not a fan anymore i am still a huge fan, but im not sure if im going to listen as much to this album then to the others..

hey I'm pretty sure that Mike or Joe said in an interview somewhere that they r open to takin risks because every time with Reanimation, with Meteora, with Collison Course and even with Live In Texas (GO US!) could split the fans into many pieces
But they don care cuz they r happy with what they're doin
and Hardcore fans like ourselves will never say LP is cra... cra.... Gah I can't do it lol
:P
well the album hasn't been able get downloaded yet on my computer but u guys r makin me nervous bout doin this

The record is a huge department from their older stuff, a bit too much of a departure.. I understand you wanna try out new stuff, and the nu metal sound has indeed faded off.
It seems the new direction they went in is being laidback, and those are the ballads, i like that they have ballads cause they didn't realy have them in the past albums. But there are too many ballads and it slows down the course of the record, and the record is already borderline-ish, i mean it's emotionaly packed. There could've been 2/3 ballads left off!
The record is just filled with fillers.
I personally like "Given Up", "Shadow Of The Day" (just beautiful), "Leave Out All The Rest" and "In Pieces" only those realy stand out.
"Bleed It Out" is kinda funny, i don't know it reminds me of guys getting wasted in a bar and jamming and acting crazy.
"No More Sorrow" is just bad.
I expected a lot of "Valentine's Day" but it was a disapointment to say the least. Just weird arrangements.
"In Between" is SO Snow Patrol.
I'm sure they'll sell with this record but it could've been better. The iTunes bonus-tracks will probably be less filler, you'll see.
