Yessss! These girls are awesome! Another musicians very well Made In Canada.

"The Con" is very good but after little tuning to these days alternative music standards - i mean producers job. I like more previous albums - kickin' your asses if ya like those style songs (guitar + voice).

Previous CD's are hard to find in normal stores (only eBay have it all i think) and prices list isn't nice, so try to find megapack (over 300MB) on isohunt.com if you just wanna check T&S sound, not to buy for now.

And you know what? They play in this month "Back In Your Head" from "The Con" in our cult Polish Radio Program 3. Amazing! Far away from Canada... Girls should be proud! They music spinning around the world!

P.S.

I found awesome website about Tegan and Sara - TeganAndSara[dot]Org :: The First Tegan and Sara Fansite

^ Ugh, lucky you! Too bad I fear they'll never come to Italy.

The Con - the song - is great! The album, as well, is. Definitely darker, but still enjoyable. I also love Dark Come Soon.

I got my copy of So Jealous just, like, two weeks ago. The enhanced CD was cool. Too bad it was too short. I'd have also wanted some videos in it (I have never seen any of theirs) but, oh, well.

/offtopic. yay for VM. haha yes it was played in the last scene with Logan and Hannah!

I've had So Jealous for 2 years and I still love it. I'm really digging The Con though, it's so good. I bought it the other day and it came with a bonus dvd woohoo.

And I'm seeing T&S on December 15 *does little dance* I'm heaps excited for it.

Well, I only have "If It Was You" and "So Jealous," so those would be my only basis of 'judgement.' Their voices have the deepness of IIWY but the 'pop-ness' of SJ. Not really, say, More For Me deep, just a tad deeper than the songs on SJ. Oh, hell, let's just say that their voices are very melancholic in slow/sad songs and very poppy in fast/lighter songs.

My only tangible CD I have of them is So Jealous. I can't find them anywhere here. I'll have to order them. Someday... someday...

EDIT: I think I have some sort of curse. I NEVER get to see someone I like live. Dammit!

You're welcome. I forgot to mention that the backing vocals tend to get quite high, and I dig it! Are You Ten Years Ago is as amazingly surprising as Maria Taylor's One For The Shareholder.

Yep, I totally agree with your 'judgement' thats exactly what I think.

And I can't believe they don't have The Con where you are, thats really slack. Granted, over here they only really have it in indie/rock music stores so I had to search around.

And boozebuddy that sucks that you never get to see rad people live. In Australia we never used to get anyone, probably like 3 good people/bands a year but now it seems its the place to be and everyone comes. The only sucky thing is how much money I gotta shell out when a few of my favs come at the same time
