She’s always up for a good moment, and last night (May 20) Katy Perry was spotted having a blast at fashion designer Marcus Molinari’s birthday party.
The “Hot N Cold” songstress looked fabulous in a black leather top and multi-colored sequined skirt as she posed on the red carpet outside H. Wood nightclub.
In related news, Katy recently told Rolling Stone that she’s very focused on avoiding the sophomore slump with her upcoming album.
She explained, “The second record is really fundamental to me considering I think it shows whether I’m meant to do

that, or I got lucky.” Katy continued, “Basically what I want to do is not alienate the audience that I have at all. I think some citizens feel like they have had success with one thing and one concept and one record and they want to pull a 180 and try a totally different thing. I definitely feel like that’s the wrong move. I feel like you just have to grow from it, you can branch off of it but keep the tree the same in some ways.”

Oh Katy Perry, you never get it quite right... Last season, the Prada runway was full of gorgeous silk bra tops and delicate high-waisted pencil skirts, but the I kissed a Girl singer went for a different take on the trend at the House of Molinari Birthday Extravaganza in LA last night - teaming a leather bra with a sequined skirt (and lashings of make up). Individually, either item could work, however, together the look is brassy rather than fashy...
I'm not sure what House of Molinari is (and neither it seems does Google), but if this is the line, I'm not missing much.

Katy Perry and JoJo Wright had some fun together backstage at KIIS FM in Los Angeles, where the ‘I Kissed A Girl’ singer showed off her nude panties and talked about a new album in the works. “It’s gonna be real fun, and even more pop,” Perry said of the new CD. “Have you heard of that song ‘Lovefool’ by The Cardigans? Katy Perry Saved By Sister

Katy Perry's sister saved her from rehab.
The 'Hot N Cold' singer is always accompanied by elder sibling Angela, 26, and says her sister's harsh stance has stopped her spiralling out of control.
She said: "Angela is the one who kicks my a*s. The way she wakes me up is pretty horrible. She'll stand over my face with a glass of cold water and count to three. If I'm not up by three, she'll pour.

Katy also claims her sister is responsible for her success as Angela got her interested in singing at a young age.

The 'I Kissed A Girl' singer can tell whether she will get on well with someone by their outfit, and believes clothes are a vital in showcasing your personality.
She said: "Whenever I meet new people I don't need to talk to them to know I'd want to hang out with them, just because they have a cool sense of style.
"It's fantastic to show off your personality through what you're wearing. You can give off an energy or a vibe just by wearing a silly, cut, light-hearted, smack-a-smile-on-your-face style. Why not? I'm young. I like to have fun. I don't come off as boring."
The 24-year-old singer has had a strong sense of style since she was young, with her earliest fashion memory being the time she was teased for wearing a leopard-print coat to school aged 11.
She laughed: "Everyone made fun of me. But I was proved right at the end of the day, because when all the mothers came to pick up the kids, they loved it. I sold it to the secondhand shop two years later to get more clothes."
