KATY PERRY refuses to overdo it when she's partying - because she's worried it will ruin her pop career.
The I Kissed A Girl singer calmed down her social life after seeing other stars ruin their reputation with a hedonistic lifestyle.
But she is adamant she won't quit having fun altogether - she just makes sure she always has an early night.
Perry says, "My motto has always been: live life to the full because at the end you're dead. But I'm starting to mellow a bit. I still believe in taking risks in my music, but I've realised that I can't party like I used to and expect to remain focused on my work.
"I've seen too many people live that way and almost wreck their careers. That's not going to happen to me. I'm still full on, but these days I see the wisdom in having a good night's sleep."

The ‘Waking Up in Vegas’ singer – who is in anon-off romance with Gym Class Heroes rapper Travis McCoy – needs to be in a relationship with a man who has a similar outlook on life to her.

Katy said: “These days I'm attracted to creative men - musicians or artists who are able to express intense emotions through their work. How they look is secondary to how they stimulate me mentally.

“In high school, hunky was good enough for me and that's how I ended up in a relationship with a golfer who was just about to turn pro. I had no interest in golf and he had no interest in music. We had absolutely nothing in common. It was doomed to fail and it did after a few months. No more golfers for me.”

The 24-year-old star – who is famed for her raunchy songs and stage routines - also vowed to stop her wild ways when she starts to get old.

She told Britain’s Live! magazine: “I plan to grow old gracefully rather than disgracefully.

I'm not planning to be a mad, drunken old woman. I aspire to a state of grace in my later years. I'll be the perfectly nice old lady next door who looks after your cat when you're away.”

Katy Perry To Get More "Honest" On Second Album

Katy Perry is planning a more "honest" second album

The singer is going to begin recording and writing the follow-up to 'One Of The Boys' after the summer, once her promotion of her debut comes to an end.


Explaining how the new record will differ, Katy says: "I'm looking to make a record that's more honest and it's going to be different."
"I'm not trying to alienate my fans necessarily but One of the Boys was written from 17 to 23 and now I'm 24 so my perspective on life has changed."


"I'm not looking to make a record about: 'Hey, I got famous this year and you didn't... blah blah blah. This relates nothing to you'," Perry continued to BBC Newsbeat.


"It might be emotional but I don't think it's going to be sad emotional. It's just going to be completely packed with what you want to hear about what I think."


Katy will be working with producer Calvin Harris on one song for the album.

The section's clothes that were stolen were the fashion leopard the section that was used by Katy during the tour. actualy that became his thief actually was the personnel boyband that at that time the tour together with singer of 'I Kissed A Girl'. The theft indeed not seriously, but only jokes of the personnel 3oh! 3.

Who is That With Katy Perry?

Last night, Katy Perry hit up My House (the club in Hollywood, not literally my townhouse in Pittsburgh — although that would be pretty effin’ sweet). She had some new dude with her…maybe a gentleman caller? Personally, I thought the dude from Gym Class Heroes was better looking, but at one point or another everyone goes “gutter diving”. Still, he’s not totally bad or anything.
In other news, I’m 94% sure that Katy got her shirt from my grandmother’s closet. Gram bought a similar number when she was out vacationing in Florida in 1993. I’d recognize those flamingos anywhere!

In related news, Katy recently faced a very strange robbery. Her sexy outfits for her joint tour concert with 3oh3 were stolen. According to Bang Showbiz, the support act - American boy band 3oh3! - raided Perry's dressing room during their joint tour.
3oh3! is made up of Perry's friends Sean Foreman and Nathanial Motte, but the friendship didn't stop the pair from taking her sexy outfits. "We shared a dressing room and would often sniff around there a bit," Foreman told Bang Showbiz. Katy Perry's camp declined to comment.

Katy Perry’s fashion sense is inspired by ‘Clueless’. The ‘I Kissed A Girl’ singer loves the look Alicia Silverstone sported in the 90s comedy movie, in which she played airhead matchmaker Cher Horowitz, which included knee-high socks, cardigans in pastel shades, belly tops and mini-kilts.
Katy explained: “‘Clueless’ was a fabulous inspiration to me in the 90s! So were Shirley Manson, a young Gwen Stefani, Madonna and Courtney Love. Now I idolise Dita Von Teese, Agyness Deyn, Bjork, Natalia Vodianova, and always Lolita.”
The 24 year old singer is famed for her outrageous style both on and off the stage - she wore a black and pink Hello Kitty corset and black PVC leggings to this year’s BRIT Awards in London - but refuses to tone down her look.

Katy claims there is nothing she would rule out wearing, and doesn’t find her past fashion faux pas embarrassing.
She told vogue.com: “I’ve tried a lot of looks and still continue to do so. I take lots of chances. Sometimes people are inspired and sometimes, confused. I never regret much of anything, though - I think everything I have tried, for better or worse, has been a creative expression of what I was feeling at that moment in life.
“You wear the look, don’t let the look wear you. It’s all about having self-confidence, which helps you pull off anything.”

KATY PERRY TRADEMARK BATTLE OVER

Singer KATY PERRY has abandoned her trademark battle against the Australian fashion designer who shares her name - just one hour before the case was due in court.
Clothing maker Katie Perry, also known as Katie Howell, recently claimed the singer's lawyers had ordered her to cease trading and withdraw her application to use their shared name on all her goods.
The I Kissed A Girl hitmaker acknowledged the feud in a post on her website, explaining she didn't plan to take legal action over the issue but her management insisted on filing a trademark protection order in the country.
Now the pop star has decided to drop the case an hour before it was due to be heard by a judge in Canberra, Australia.
Fashion designer Katie Perry says, "I went to sleep last night worrying about this case and whether I was going to lose my business and now all that has changed.
"Physically and mentally it's taken a huge toll. I've learnt a lot of lessons through this - mostly to stick to my guns. I still have to work tonight but I think I'll find time for a glass of champagne as well."
