EXCLUSIVE: Ashley Greene Picks Her Best Dressed Stars at the VMAs

As the night’s fashion correspondent for MTV, Ashley Greene got to turn a critical eye on her fellow fashionistas. The New Moon star puts Beyonce, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift on her best dressed list. “In a night where silver, gold and black metallic minis ruled the red carpet, Beyonce stood out in her short red plunging [Roberto Cavalli] mini dress,” Ashley tells PEOPLE. “It was so sexy, yet completely tasteful at the same time.” And while many starlets went for sparkle, it was all about Katy’s mini by The Blonds for Ashley. “There were a lot of sparkly mini dresses, but Katy’s was my favorite,” she says.”The spikes rocked it up a bit and the fit was incredible on her body.” As for Taylor, Ashley admired her for channeling her inner princess. “Taylor looked stunning in her floor-length [Kaufman Franco] gown. I loved that she was one of the few who chose to wear a long dress — she looked straight out of a fairytale,” says Ashley. And, of course, Ashley loved her hunky New Moon co-star Taylor Lautner who walked the red carpet in a sleek Calvin Klein Collection suit. “He looked so handsome in his suit and I’m pretty sure all the fans agreed!” We definitely do! Wow, the alcohol must’ve really been flowing at the VMAs afterparty on Sunday night, because according to reports Katy Perry was seen smooching with the award’s host - Russell Brand!Apparently Katy – who we caught up with shopping in New York yesterday – was spotted flirting with Russell in the corner – and inevitably flirting turned into a big fat snog (gos we hate the word snog). An onlooker at the bash said:
"They were sitting together, flirting and whispering to each other with their faces very close. Then Russell leaned in for a long kiss. It didn't look like this was the first time. He was looking extremely pleased with himself."
We bet he was. So, it didn’t look like the first time they'd kissed eh? The plot thickens…

Zooey Deschanel Married Ben Gibbard

Zooey Deschanel’s “(500) Days” of single living are over.


The Katy Perry-deadringer wed Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard in a ceremony over the weekend, according to PEOPLE Magazine. The couple reportedly tied the knot near Seattle, Washington on Saturday.

Earliet that day, Ben’s bandmate Chris Walla Tweeted, “Wedding day!! So excited,” but didn’t identify Ben and Zooey as the marrying couple.
The pair announced their engagement last December after about a year of dating.
