Katy Perry Hunts, Kills, Wears Sasquatch To Pre-Grammy Party
Well, as we saw earlier this week as pretty pop princess Katy Perry sat in as a guest judge on American Idol, this is not a gal to be trifled with. Nope, she will mess you up if you try crossing swords with her - just ask the idiot that is Kara DioGuardi. Oh man, Katy b*tchslapped her so hard so many times you just know Kara cried like a baby the moment the cameras were turned off. Now as further proof of Katy's toughness we have these snaps of her as she attends one of the pre-Grammy parties last night. Yup, check out that thing she has draped over her shoulders -- I mean once you tear your eyes away from her loverly cleavage that is. What do you think that thing is? A designers nightmare come to life? The worst thing you've ever seen her wear... like ever? Yes, it is both of those things too - but it is: Sasquatch. I sh*t you not. Oh yes he exists... or rather existed. You see Katy went out into the woods - hunted that bastard down, beat the living hell out of him, skinned him alive then draped his carcass over her shoulders just to show the world she could do it. And send a pretty clear message: Ladies Keep Yer Filthy Paws Off My Man Russell Brand. Got It? Good.

January 29, 2010: We spotted fiances Katy Perry and Russell Brand partying with friends at Christopher "Tricky" Stewart's Pre-Grammy party at Wonderland in Hollywood.
Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry made bold fashion statements to start off the big night.
Lady Gaga definitely ruled the Grammy Awards red carpet on Sunday night (January 31). The pop star and Grammy winner somehow manages to defy all the rules. Just when you think she's done everything bizarre there is to do in the world of fashion, she shows up in a silver dress that looks like a planet, may have been designed by classic Italian designer Armani and carried off a pointy chandelier like a common accessory.
With Lady Gaga out of the way, it's not easy to decide the best and worst looks of the night. Lea Michele of "Glee" killed it in her one-shouldered black dress with feathery miniskirt. Adam Lambert also looked effortlessly chic in his sparkly blazer. And Taylor Swift did not disappoint in her sparkly deep-teal gown with off-the-shoulder detailing.
Best New Artist nominee Keri Hilson dazzled in her nude-colored, fishtail-hemlined, va-va-voom Dolce and Gabbana dress. Speaking of va-va-voom, Beyoncé's very tight, zipper-front nude-colored gown kept it interesting thanks to geometric patterning throughout the entire dress.
Both Pink and Katy Perry sparkled. Pink stood out in a feminine silver gown, while Perry's Zac Posen gold gown was funky thanks to a skintight fit and gold flower decals. Fergie looked great in her royal blue minidress, and she managed to be a bit space-aged thanks to a fun silver trail of fabric running through the dress.
Then there were looks that straddled the line between good and bad. Miley Cyrus' little peacock-blue dress seemed to do just that. The little dress fit her well but looked too old for the 17-year-old.
Carrie Underwood's silvery white gown didn't do her justice thanks to some strange strappy detailing on her shoulders, and the dress' loose bodice didn't fit her body right. Ciara's bizarre lace Givenchy jumpsuit was overwhelming for the singer. And Colbie Caillat's gold strapless dress didn't feel right for the typically beachy singer.
No one can bring out the stars quite like Clive Davis! The music mogul's Pre-Grammy Gala & Salute to Industry Icons (this year honoring Universal Music Group Chairman and CEO Doug Morris) is an annual tradition and one of the biggest parties of the year. And with a bevy of stars – including Jay-Z, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Russell Brand, Taylor Swift, Ne-Yo, Sheryl Crow, Adam Lambert and Barbra Streisand – in attendance, Saturday night's bash at the Beverly Hilton Hotel was no exception.
"It's one of those parties that you have to come to," Ciara, in head-to-toe Givenchy, told PEOPLE on her way in. "I'm excited to see everybody! It's cool to see people that you know, people that you don't know. It's always great to see Clive, and I'm just looking forward to having a great time."
Fergie, in a Zuhair Murad party dress, breezed down the red carpet in a hurry, stopping only to have a happy chat with Nick Jonas. But the singer had a good reason to rush: The Black Eyed Peas opened the show with Slash singing the classic Guns n' Rose's tune "Sweet Child O' Mine."
Newly engaged couple Katy Perry and Russell Brand sat front-and-center with pals Rihanna and Ne-Yo. On his way in the British comedian told PEOPLE his idea of a dream wedding. "I would like to have a Victorian wedding with a bunch of chimney sweeps and ravens and people on Penny Farthings coming along," he joked.
Later, Rihanna caught up with old flame Drake just as Harry Connick Jr. went on and got everyone clapping along to his amazing piano playing.
Taylor Swift, who is up for eight awards at Sunday's telecast, blew Clive Davis a kiss after he introduced her to the crowd. "It just hasn't even sunk in yet!" she said of her multiple nominations. But the country sensation is feeling optimistic, she told PEOPLE, thanks to her lucky number thirteen. "When I see it, it means that good things are going to happen, and I've seen it more times than I can even verbalize," she explained. "Every time I look at a clock, it's something-thirteen; the Grammys are happening on the 31st, which is 13 backwards; my producer was just given his ticket for the show, and he is sitting in seat 13. It just freaks me out!"
The party turned into an American Idol reunion for Kris Allen, Adam Lambert and Kara DioGuardi, who wore a Nicole Miller cocktail dress. "I'm just excited to be here and I'm honored to be here," Allen, in a Rag and Bone tux, told PEOPLE. "It's really cool."
Smokey Robinson gave PEOPLE a hint at what's to come Sunday, when he, along with Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Usher and Carrie Underwood, pay tribute to the late King of Pop. "It's beautiful," he said of the performance they rehearsed earlier in the day. "We're having a great time and we are all paying tribute to Michael Jackson and the earth that we live on."
Jay-Z arrived after the event was in full swing (he'd been having a drink with producer and Interscope head Jimmy Iovine at a bar downstairs in the hotel) and gave Quincy Jones a warm hug on his way to his seat, while newcomer Ke$ha performed her hit "Tik Tok" on stage.
After Clive's bash, the A-list crowd made their way over to Iovine's house for a post-dinner party, where Mary J. Blige, Beyoncé, Sheryl Crow, Jay-Z, Diddy, Willi.am, Gwen Stefani, Akon, Maxwell, L.A. Reid, Keri Hilson, Drake and more all carried on into the night.
