"Katy Perry checked in with fans on her blog widget, shooting down a claim that she and Gym Class Heroes star Travis McCoy were engaged. She writes, “Not engaged! But thanks for the free press New York Daily News! You should fact check with the source before you spread world wide news like that.”

“NOT engaged!” she wrote. “But thanks for the free press, New York Daily News! You should fact check with the source before you spread world-wide news like that,” she added on her blog post, which was titled, “From the horse’s mouth.”
McCoy has also mentioned that he is not ready for marriage yet!
“I guess I’m kind of old school — it was a token of my affection and a way to show her that I wanted to take it to another level,” McCoy told Usmagazine.com in September. “Not the next next level, but a level above where we are at.” US Magazine
Darn, this is good news isn’t it? Katy is still single! Do you think Travis and Katy make a great couple?"
