Benji Madden and Katy Perry in new romance

Paris Hilton’s jilted boyfriend may have found love in the arms of less flighty and more talented woman. He was seen out with singer Katy Perry getting cosy on Valentine’s day.

Earlier in the night she may have called it “the horror that is Valentine’s Day,” but Katy Perry appears to have been struck by cupid’s arrow – which also seems to have hit Paris Hilton’s ex, Benji Madden.
Following her Valentine’s show at Hard Rock Hotel’s Wasted Space, Perry, 24, and Madden, 29, headed to Lavo – where the two conspicuously cuddled throughout the night, later prompting one observer to sense “some chemistry there.”
Madden, in town to deejay, even danced for Perry during several songs – and at those rare times when their hands weren’t on each other’s legs.

How much do you want to bet Paris will find out and try to get Benji to go back to her just out of jealousy? It seems like she would do.
I have a feeling Perry is more Madden’s speed and that they have much more in common. She was raised by an ultra religious family including a dad who was an Evangelical pastor. Madden and his twin Benji also had a strict Christian upbringing. They’re both musicians with promising careers and seem like they’re looking for longer term relationships, given their respective dating histories.
What’s more is that both Perry and Madden became single around the same time last year. Perry broke up with her longterm boyfriend, Gym Class Heroes’ Travis McCoy in December while Benji and Paris called it quits in November. They had a couple of months to be single and now they’re looking for something more lasting.

I hope these two kids are having fun together and part of me is really rooting for them. Despite his incredibly poor judgment in sticking with Paris for so long I kind of like Benji. It was sweet how he would speak so fondly to the press about Paris and he definitely seemed like the more mature and devoted party in that relationship. Maybe now he’s found a woman who will appreciate him and won’t step on his feelings.

It appears Katy Perry was struck by Cupid's arrow during a visit to Las Vegas on Valentine's Day.
The singer was spotted getting very cosy with Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden, who split from heiress Paris Hilton last year.

The smitten pair could barely keep their hands off each other as they partied together following her gig at Hard Rock Hotel's Wasted Space.

Don't look now, Paris: The pair indulged in some heavy flirtation

Katy, 24, descended on The Palazzo hotel's Lavo nightclub with Benji, 29, who is in the city for a deejaying gig.

The pair, who were joined by a 20-strong entourage, spent the night cuddling up and at one point, Benji even put on a little dance just for her amusement.
They left together just after 2am via a back exit.

An onlooker told America's OK! magazine: 'They were with friends but you could definitely tell they were on a date.

'There wasn't any public making-out but they were very "friendly" with each other.'
Katy has been single since her relationship with Gym Class Heroes singer Travis McCoy ended just before New Year's Eve.
The pair spent Christmas together in Mexico prior to calling time on their long-term romance.

Just after their split, McCoy took to his blog where he posted a loaded message about his new computer.
He wrote: 'My laptop is my new b–. Loyal. Listens. And never lets me down.'

Budding romance? The pair kept close throughout the evening before leaving together just after 2am

Viva Las Vegas!

Katy Perry did a show in Sin City over the weekend, and the singer put on her very best Vegas showgirl attire for her performance. Hey, not like we're complaining - we love it when her girls come out to play!
And it looks like newly single Katy might not be single for much longer - online reports are linking the curvy songstress to Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden!
After Katy performed at the Hard Rock Hotel, Katy and Benji were spotted looking all sorts of lovey dovey at club Lavo. Benji danced with Katy, and sources say that the two couldn't keep their hands off each other. Just be careful Katy - he IS Paris Hilton's ex!

Wow I haven't been on this board in like years but this thread has definatly taken off. I posted this before she released I kissed a girl and blew up into overrated-ness but never the less I'm really happy she's got somewhere. Still I stay true to her older rockier songs

Katy Perry and Benji Madden were both spotted at LAVO at The Palazzo on Valentine’s day getting cozy with each other. Sources say the two “dominated LAVO’s VIP section on the dance floor” and they “sat together and chatted closely.”
“Katy grabbed the microphone and addressed the crowd, telling all “Screw boys, we got girls!” as her hit “I Kissed a Girl” began to play in the background. Despite her instructions to the club goers, Katy clearly only had eyes for Benji.”
Benji could hump a rattlesnake and it’d be a step up from Paris Hilton. Jumping from Paris to Katy is like winning the Super Bowl when just last year you were surviving off of cat pee.
I’m not sure how credible these reports are though. I could put my hands all over girls at clubs too, but that doesn’t mean we’re together. It just means security hasn’t caught me yet.

One day. That’s how long it took for Katy Perry to issue a denial about sexing Benji Madden. That’s 23 hours too long. When rumors spread of you dating a Madden brother, you want to get on top of that right away. It’s like gangrene. Got to cut it off at the source. Katy wrote on her Tumblr:

Benji Madden turns Katy Perry into a lesbian

Benji Madden attempted to pick up Katy Perry last night at LAVO in Vegas prompting her to loudly proclaim her love of women to the crowd, according to TMZ:

"Happy Vagina Day... Fuck boys. We don't need boys -- we got girls!"

I guess this explains her outfit. If it were 1985. But, seriously, leave it to Benji Madden to turn anyone off to men. I'm surprised he's not being paid by Rick Warren to "cure" gay guys. Not that I support that kind of thing, but let's not pretend it wouldn't work. Tom Cruise is looking at these pics right now and thinking about having sex with Katie Holmes. - - Or maybe just a hug.
