SILVER fox Phillip Schofield has once again been unable to resist declaring his feelings for a young beauty — this time Katy Perry.

The ITV1 host pre-recorded an interview with the I Kissed A Girl singer, 24 — then rushed to social network site Twitter to gush about her.

He typed excitedly: �I’ve just recorded an interview with Katy Perry for 9th March on This Morning. She’s lovely, honest, and has arresting eyes!�
It is not the first time the happily married dad-of-two has gone a bit gaga over a gorgeous celeb.
Last year the presenter sent This Morning co-host Fern Britton into fits of giggles when he announced he fancied �gorgeous� model Agyness Deyn, 26 — but added the blonde had not returned his calls.

KATY PERRY IS CRAZY FOR KOKO CLUB IN LONDON

We spotted Katy Perry in yet another unusual outfit as she excited London's Koko club late last night. The singer performed on stage earlier in the evening as part of her of her European tour.
Katy has responded to the rumors that she and Benji Madden are hooking up (after being seen together in Las Vegas on Valentine's Day). She writes on her blog, "It’s two pseudo famous people sitting next to each other… doesn’t mean we were bumping uglies! You know I don’t just do that with anyone! That’s just how the media works, as you can tell. I was there celebrating a really fun show and a boozy Valentine's with all my good friends. We were like a group of 25."
She adds that her main squeeze these days is her cat, "'Benji is a nice young fellow, but my heart really belongs to Kitty Purry"

Katy Perry launched into a bitter rant against an ex-boyfriend last night during a London gig. While on stage at Koko in Camden, Katy Perry began talking to the audience about Pinocchio and seemed to compare an ex-boyfriend to the kids' story-book character. Katy Perry told the screaming audience: "I didn't know when I was a six-year-old kid watching Pinocchio that when I turned into an adult, I'd end up dating a Pinocchio. "It’s true," Katy Perry continued. "He doesn't have a heart, he has a long nose, but he has a lot of wood. I didn't know what to do with all that excess wood. I could have made a fire out of it." "Sometimes you date somebody and they just don't f*cking reciprocate," she said before revealing her disappointment at his Valentine's gift. "Valentine's day came and went, thank god. I'm sure there were a lot of girls like myself, who did some extraordinary thing and got an e-card back. "It's not acceptable. You just can't send us an e-card for Valentine's day. Obviously he didn't have enough heart."

KATY'S ON A MILEY HIGH

KATY Perry has found herself singing backing vocals for Miley Cyrus.

Tracks she tested for her One Of The Boys album were given to Miley, 16, with her vocals left on.

Katy, 24, pictured, told Bliss Magazine: "My vocals are actually on Breakout. I thought: 'Yes, I'm singing on a Miley single'."

Dan Wootton of News of the World caught up with Katy Perry in Manchester, where the pop star was sounding more like Jeffrey Dahmer. “Let me give you a piece of relationship advice,” Perry said. “We will love you so much, make you beans on toast and butter your bread. But if you break our heart, we will take the butter knife and cut you into little pieces and put you in the freezer.”

London, Mar 1 (ANI): American singer Katy Perry is riding high after finding herself singing backing vocals for teen sensation Miley Cyrus.
The tracks that the 24-year-old singer tested for her One Of The Boys album were given to the Hanna Montana star, with Perry’s vocals left on.
“My vocals are actually on Breakout. I thought: ‘Yes, I’m singing on a Miley single’,” the Daily Star quoted her as telling Bliss magazine.
Meanwhile, the ‘I Kissed A Girl’ singer launched into a bitter rant against her ex-boyfriend during a London gig.

At a time when rapid rises in the world of pop are commonplace, the career trajectory of Katy Perry has been especially steep. Her breakthrough single, "I Kissed a Girl", was released only last May, but by November she had presented the MTV Europe Music Awards, an event that a year earlier she watched at home.
Now, fresh from winning Best International Female at the Brit Awards barely a fortnight ago, even selling out two nights at Koko in the middle of a European tour doesn't seem that big a deal. When she next arrives on these shores, she will clearly be playing in bigger venues.
There's no doubt she's an impressive pop product – feuds with fellow pop-stars, rumours of high-profile romances and a dress sense that's eye-catching, to say the least, have meant she is rarely out of the headlines. Combine her saucy image with her religious upbringing (she's the daughter of a preacher and her debut album was actually a gospel record) and she would seem a record label's dream.
To be fair to the 24-year-old from Santa Barbara, unlike most pop starlets she has been unafraid to step into the grimy world of touring, honing her live skills on the US punk festival, the Warped Tour. It's likely that there she would have faced a more hostile audience than tonight's crowd, which seems full of teenage girls, many with parents in tow. Camera phones aloft, they greet Perry with screams of "I love you Katy".
From the opener, "Fingerprints", it's a night for high-octane pop-rock songs. Unsurprisingly, it's the singles that are the high points – "Hot N Cold" is the first number to get the crowd singing along, with Perry climbing on to the speaker stack.
Yet, just as on her album One of the Boys, too many of her songs are soft rock by numbers, and when she slows it down even further, the energy starts to ebb away. Fortunately, these moments are kept to a minimum. Also, Perry has the personality and the experience of how to work a crowd that will ensure she's more than just the next Avril Lavigne. She's at her best on songs such as "Ur So Gay", which in spite of its questionable lyrics is a brilliant attack on a former lover – during it she urges all the girls to phone their exes so they can listen.
Although at moments she steers far too close to the middle of the road, the high points more than make up for this. The sense of adulation in the room doubles as, for her encore, she appears wearing a leopard-print catsuit, complete with a tail and pink bow in her hair. Although the subsequent cover of Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now" brings back too many memories of McFly's butchering, the final song – yes, it's "I Kissed a Girl" – truly brings the house down. With its pumping faux-lesbian electro chorus, this is undoubtedly a classic pop song – it proves that if she can stay away from the soft rock ballads, her trajectory won't start dipping anytime soon.

Katy Perry has hinted that she would be keen to find an English boyfriend.
The singer is currently touring the UK and has been single since splitting with Gym Class Heroes frontman Travis McCoy earlier this year.
"I'm still available. I could have an English boyfriend," she told News Of The World.
"I think it could be nice but I'm not sure I'm ready for love."
The star went on to provide some "relationship advice" to men that would ensure they always stayed in their girlfriends' good books.
"We will love you so much, make you beans on toast and butter your bread," she said.
"But if you break our heart, we will take the butter knife and cut you into little pieces and put you in the freezer."


Katy Perry split from her boyfriend Travis McCoy (frontman with Gym Class Heroes) at the beginning of 2009.


Perry releases her new single 'Thinking Of You' on March 9.

It might not have worked out for Madonna, but those Americans just can't seem to get enough of our British men...
