attaching mp3's???

is it possible to attach mp3 files in a post????
i know i should upload them somewhere and post a link.. but i don't know where to upload them..
is it possible to attach them as .zip files?
(or simply to rename them as .jpg and post it?? and after downloaded re-rename it as .mp3 again..)
