He left the band over a year ago to devote his time fully to his band Closet Monster. HE didnt like all the stuff that went along with being "mainstream" or whatever.

Yeah Closet Monster have done loads of shows and appearances quite recently. I wish they'd come over to the UK

closet monster is great...and yeah,if i'm honest,london fitts much better in closet monster then in the band of avril lavigne...

at the moment they aren't really doing any thing .. they had to cancel or post-pone a whole heap of shows when Chris decided to leave the band. so at the moment they're doing a whole lot of nothing except trying to recruit and i think London may be doing some lyricising. ... possibly. that is all.

I'm still waiting til the ep they recorded this summer's gonna be released, it should be released anywhere in autumn... so thats like now?

I've also heard they're gonna record another full lenght as well although they should find themselves a new drummer first (has anyone heard if they found one already)... and I bet a new tour coming up after all this shit.

closet monster came ova 2 england a while ago but it woz like a load ov bands ther n they wernt big bands it woz in stoke on trent i cudnt get i didnt hav ne money

word on the street is that they have found a replacement ... permanent, tempory, who it is has not yet been revealed. but they are apparently opening for Nitrominds. Its a tour across Canada starting on the 6th of November. (Nitrominds are a Brazillian band) so it will be good to see if this tour eventuates. Nitrominds are pretty kick ass.

The only name i think that has been thrown out in the open was a joke ... but maybe there is something new. Also on the Closet Monster front they are playing the 2nd Birthday show for Underground Operations. its a huge celebration featuring Closet Monster, Protest The Hero Bombs Over Providence and special guests. yea i get some of my info from UO.com (such as the 2nd b'day thing and the Nitrominds one) but i heard first hand frmo Chris about him leaving, and most of my other news comes from a friend of the boys who grew up with them and went to school with them, and is still heavily involved in helping out and keeping the boys on stage.
