Rules for Every Forum:
1. Don't piss off the admins.
2. Don't piss off the moderators. This also means don't repost something that a mod (or admin) edited, and don't make a new thread of the same thing after we already removed it.
3. Don't diss Avril. If you come to a fan club full of fans just to diss the person the club is about then your going to get banned. There's a difference between saying someting in a way that's friendly and dissing someone. For example, we would allow something like: "I really didn't like the way Avril was dressed at the MTV Asia Awards, it was not really her best shirt." We won't allow something like this: "Avril looked fucking stupid at the MTV Awards, she dresses dumb."
4. Don't post anything offensive. If you post something that we think is offensive it will get taken off. If you post it again after we take it off you will get banned.
5. Don't flame. (Don't purposly start fights with other forum members. Only mods and admins should be starting fights.)
6. Don't take anything in here too serious.
7. Admins and mods here will be sarcastic and use satire, get used to it. Don't get offended.
Rules for Questions Forum:
1. Check the Frequently Asked Questions before you make a post. Odds are, if it's a simple question, it's already answered in there. I'll be locking/deleting threads that can be answered in the FAQ.
2. Post any questions you have here. However, there are a few rules:
- Most questions posted here are going to be support-related, such as "I can't do blah on the site/forums".
- Avril-specific questions should be posted in the '
Everything "Under the Milky Way"' forum.
- Non-site related problems (IE problems with a certain program (Photoshop, Windows Media Player), computer problems, etc.) might be answered, but do know that the site-related questions do take priority.
3. Do not request media here. There is a '
Request Media' forum for that.
4. If it's a non-site/forum related question, give it a quick search on
Google before you ask here. You'd be suprised what you can find on Google if you phrase it properly.
5. This last rule is more of a personal request. Please refrain from arguing here, if you can. You can take it to PMs or the Off-Topic forum if you really feel you need to tear someone's head off.
