Another Donation Method...

Theres been a lot of talk about the problems with donating for people who don't have credit cards, don't like credit cards or can't have credit cards....

I have a suggestion, although it is kinda a minority group i'm speakin for here - namely me and the handful of other UK people who might want to donate.

NOCHEX - Email Money is the UKs largest email payment system. It enables its users to quickly and easily send and receive money via email in a secure environment.

It uses debit cards, which anyone can have at the age of 16 onwards.

You can load money into your NOCHEX account from your Bank account or receive money from other NOCHEX users. Once there is money in your NOCHEX account you can send it to anyone with an email address. You can withdraw your money from your NOCHEX account into your Bank account at any time. It's as easy as email!

I'm pretty sure it works with foreign bank accounts, because when you register, it asks you what country you live in.

Sooo... give it some thought - *Mike* - it'd sure make me donate on a more regular basis..... a.k.a i wouldn't have to borrow someones cc.

I have a debit card. And I use it at paypal. My debit card can be used anywhere a credit card can. But I can't spend whats not in my bank account. It can "bounce" like checks, you know? Guys, just sign up for a checking account. Then check the little box that says you want a debit card. And there you go. You're all set.
