luke designed a bunch (well... april did ) and they look frigging killer but as of yet we dont have the means to produce and distribute them and if we were to start doing that we'd need to either charge a fuckload or have at least 50 or so guarenteed orders

I know of a Pearl Jam board that did this.
They even ran a design contest, though I think someone had the veto to dump rubbish.
Most of them wore the shirts to the shows on the last tour and could recognise each other.
One of the admins took it upon himself to organise it all.
I think they got about 40-50 orders and took the design to a professional printshop.
I think it worked out at something like $12 per shirt, excluding postage to mail to members.
It is viable, but someone needs to take on the responsibility, and financial risk.
I suggest NOT the person who was supposed to mail out Bandaids DVDs!
Most of the members on that board were 18+ and working, and could afford the shirts. Remember that you're dealing with a younger age range here, who do not have much of a disposable income.
You could always post an 'official' site design for people to print out onto iron-transfer paper.

LoL, in Tyler's defense, I received my bandaids dvd and am very happy with it. I'll check around here to find any printshops and figure out prices. Static, how many colors is april's design? The number of colors matters a lot. UNLESS we did decals. Decals would be the most efficient way to do it, if we wanted a picture. I saw a decal making thing at comp usa. Its like the paper to print them onto or something. I'll buy that, and try it out and see how well it turns out. if that works, (and doesn't look like shit) i'd be willing to make and ship them. And we could do a "donate for a t-shirt" thing.

static, can you send me the designs? i'll do a test shirt on a decal and see how it works. If it doesn't look awesome, i'll check prices of print shops! Come to think of it, costco would be a really good place to get that done! I'll find out how much they'll put a photo on a shirt for (i can do high quality photo printing) and if there is a discount if i do this in bulk!

Grr... does he have msn? When he comes on I need to bug him! I'll find where I can buy t-shirts for cheap and get them made, then ALL the money can go to bandaids, instead of paying for the supplies.

Okay! I did some t-shirt price checking! At costco, its $13 per shirt, and its $11 per shirt if you order 10 or more. I asked if it was cheaper if I provided the shirts (especially if they can only put them on white shirts) and they said they usually don't because then if it gets ruined they can't replace it. But maybe I can haggle with them....hahaha. Anyways, if someone would send me the FREAKING DESIGN, LUKE, i'll get one made onto a decal and one made at costco and see which looks better.
