Advert stopping me signing upto media

Hello,

Had a quick search but couldn't see what I was looking for. Apologies if I missed it somewhere. Thought about maybe placing it in the media section but seemed to fit better here...

Right, I'm trying to sign-up to the media section and I have this really annoying advert on the left-hand side which is basically preventing me from signing up.

It appears to be like one of those that pop up across the screen and then you click the x or whatever and it just goes back to being a normal advert. Except in this case unless I'm being really simple, I can't find anything to close it with. Which means it won't allow me to register.

Any ideas?

Once again, apologies if this has been answered before but I don't venture here that often and the word I used in search didn't find anything.

It would be easier if I had had an ad popping up, but I registered and no pop-up showed.

So what exactly happens when you click on the advert? It doesn't open up a new window? What do you mean by "it just goes back to being a normal advert"? Normally, it should open up a new window, and then the window (the "old" one) should be back to normal, ad-less.

It seems really strange as usually when you get adverts like that, there is an x to close it. But for some reason, I can't seem to see it.

When I click the advert it opens in a new window but doesn't disappear on this one. Have tried accessing it on both Mozilla and Internet Explorer.

Could get by without it, just I can't read what fields it wants me to fill in to register.

Oh, I got something like that, but it wasn't covering the page. It was just on the left side of the screen, where there's normally just the background.

Anyway, here's a screenshot of the Register page:

You can use the tab button: the thirtieth press is the name .

Right, well I finally managed to register tonight using a combination of rockpits picture and finding that if you are lucky enough to get a still advert rather than a moving one you can make it see through.
