Well bots can't really see or sense emotion, nor can they act upon it. They have one purpose and it is to advertise a product. They can't see Christina over-reacting to the spam. Even if they could, they are just advertising. I don't think they want to annoy anyone in particular

Spam robots are quite funny, they got funny or stupid names and post products advertising or even porn pictures (as I could see here ). However, they are annoying as well, so they have to be deleted as soon as they are seen.

Form a spam division. Spam controllers, Spam police, Spam Control Unit or what ever....
And give them rights to edit post, they can then erase the content and pm an admin and have the post/thread/user deleted and banned
The report spam button would then send the email to members of this team.
And you can focus on the other bad posts.

If you want to do that. Consider this as my application to join that group!!!

it's 05.33 in the morning here so if something don't make sense... thats why!
