I have to say that i agree that people on here take things way too seriously at times. I love coming on here and there are so many nice people but i think that its a bit controlling sometimes. Like paul said everything is going to offend someone but is that a reason to close threads just because one or two people get offended??? If someones offended by a thread then dont read it!
I also agree with what hithereimvoldemort [sorry i dont know your name ] said. People really need to lighten up and not take things to heart so much! its a forum, things are gonna be said that someone doesnt agree with but thats life and you cant always censor it!

oh okay. Sorry, your original working just didn't make any sense.
But like I said, we could use a thread where admins EXPLAIN why threads are closed and stuff. That way, people couldn't dispute it without knowing the facts.

Hunter don'ter worry it was actualy nothing to do wih my thread being closed its to do me with and evil queen talking about how uptight some people are on the site and how they need to lighten up thats all i wanted to kinda get accross i mean like i'm on tonnes of sites, sad but true and things are said and dismissed but nothing is ever closed its jsut here spam and stuff that definatly shud be closed fair enough, and some people do get banned for petty reason i do believe u's can disagree but u's aren't all the admins and alot of stuff on this turns into hipocrisy, well not that much i guess i'm not on all the time but i do see it often, and some don't realise at the time, but ppeople just lighten up like, and stop being so bitchy and looking to get people banned i mean everyone is here cos they are fans of Avril so be a fan!!

Plus there is like 5 admins......we need more than one admin because there are so many staff members. We have lots of staff because this is a big site with lots of major components that need admins to look over it.

okay, but what about the thread idea?
You said it yourself, admins make mistakes at times. That thread, where they would have to explain why somebody was banned or a thread was closed, would make it possible to determine whether the right choice was made or not.
Example:
Tiffany got banned. You go in the thread and say "Tiffany was banned b/c she has been reported a million times (albeit 100,000 of those times were by Christina, others reported her too) and has offended a ton of others."
Case closed, she was banned for the right reason, and nobody will ask WHY she was banned.
Sylvia's thread is closed. Say, "It was closed because she asked me to do it."
Case closed, nobody complains.

I think it can be a little to serious sometimes.. But I think it's good that you cant go around saying offensive stuff in every thread
