Images in Your Posts & Sigs

I'm making a thread about this cuz there's so many people posting asking how to do this.

Pics in Your Posts
You have to know the URL of your pic. You can find the URL by right-clicking>properties on an image. After you know your URL, you can paste that between IMG tags. If your pic is just on your computer instead of uploaded to a site, you can upload it with some free places like http://mywebpage.netscape.com or http://www.imagestation.com Your code should look like this in your post:

[IMG]http://mywebpage.netscape.com/picture.jpg[/IMG]

Pics in Your Sig
Click the "USER/CP" button at the top of the forum, then click the "EDIT SIGNATURE" button. There is a text box for your signature. Then you simply use the same code as if you were posting a picture for a forum post.

You shouldn't normally direct link from a sites pic, so if you just save it to your own computer and upload it to http://mywebpage.netscape.com or another website... they'll appreciate it.

wot are the codes that u need if u want 2 use a video clip 4 ur signature? is it the same?

unfortunately, we can't allow video clips in signatures because they slow down the forum far too much, but if you have a short clip that you've converted to .gif or whatever then just use the same tags.

is the picture appeared immediately or some time must be passed by before the picture can be shown properly? i can't find what's wrong with my code.my picture is not shown.

I write [img]http://...................[img]

but i can't see the image
