Avril Lavigne to Appear on The View on September 11!

The View, a talk show featured on ABC in the United States will have a super awesome special guest on their show tomorrow morning - none other than Avril Lavigne! Thanks to Bandaider Jerrylee, we now have confirmation of a brand new appearance according to The View's official schedule - "...see a back-to-school fashion show from Avril Lavigne." While we're all looking forward to Avril's fashion show in New York City, now those of us who can't make a flight to the big Apple will be able to see To view the link you have to Register advertising her clothing line, Abbey Dawn! for those of you who are wanting more info on the fourth album and NO other news - i think it's time to realize that "Avril Lavigne - musician" is now just one of the hats she wears. She is becoming an industry now, clothing, music, perfume, and i'm sure there's more in the future. while i will always appreciate the musician FIRST, i can't help feeling good about her major accomplishments overall. for a kid from a small town in Canada, you have to be myopic not to see just how far she's come.
i for one, think it's awesome just how far her reach is now and people no longer even TRY to badmouth her in my presence. i know i've convinced an awful lot of my peers that she is more than just a flash in the pan manufactured "pop chick" (*cough*disney*cough*) and many of them have a new found respect for her.
anyway, yeah, 4th album news is good, but there's a shitload more to "Avril Lavigne" than music now and i congratulate her for that

I totally see your point with just wanting more album news and nothing else.
I can understand why people would be impatient on it, but Im really proud of her. She's come a long way and it's awesome she's been able to do all of this successfully.

Like I said in some other thread a while ago - it's almost as if she's not talking about her album, she's expected to stay quiet. All of her stuff needs promotion and hey, even better for us because we get to see her more often

Edit - forgot to mention, she has said everything she's done has revolved around her music (something along the lines). Coming out with a successful clothing line while on tour, working on a fragrance and creating a new album?! She's amazing. I could bring more up, but I won't.

I just watched it and she says she is still writing and recording and it'll be due out next year. :O

I don't know what to make of this particular statement unless this show was recorded ages ago, but Mayor Giuliani was on saying it was September 11th, so unless only Avril's part was recorded earlier, then it was live and that is the latest news on the album release, straight from the mouth of Avril Lavigne.
