To be honest, I've listened to her music before, and it's just not my type of music. I find her a poor artist, just like the Jonas Brothers. And I listen to so many artists already (my music collection on my computer consists of 300 artists, and almost 160 GB worth of music), that I really don't have room in my collection for someone I don't really like all that much.

I felt the same way about Chris Brown. I love Michael Jackson, and I always saw CB as a poor copy of MJ. Justin Timberlake, on the other hand, actually has talent (and I wish he'd come out with a new cd.) It's not that it's "Disney Pop", because Christina Aguilera is one of my favorite artists (I've been a fan of hers since the first album in 1999), and it's not because she's a teenager, because Avril was 17 when she started, and Christina was 17 when she started, and I like both artists. It's just that...I don't like her singing or her music. Simply that.

If other people enjoy her music, though, that's great. My favorite band is Rush, and I know a lot of people who can't stand them, or label them as a 'nerd band.' I think music is subjective enough that everyone has different tastes, and that's cool.
