I don't really.. His music is alright, but he seems so far up his own ass.
And sometimes it seems like he is using Avril and her fans to get fame.

I used to like him a lot, supported him during the Hate Me days, but now I'm pissed at him because he's just become ridiculous. He's not gonna make it.

i have no opinion on this guy..... but still, i dont see whats so wrong or unusual about using your experience and connections to get ahead... i dont know anything about him except for bits and pieces i've picked up on this site... but if you want a career in the pop music business, and have a lot of experience working closely with a hugely popular multi-platinum-selling artist, it would seem kinda stupid not to take advantage of that

I don't like his music but that's depends on taste.

Eh... he's okay. Personality-wise, he's a nice person. I think he's a good song-writer. Penning "Don't Tell Me" with Avril is a huge accomplishment. However, I do kinda think his music career is getting old. I like some of his stuff, but he needs to get real and get an album out.

I absolutely love Evan. I think he's great.

I don't think he uses Avril to get famous. He recognizes that the only reason he has a chance at what he's doing now is because of her and he embraces that. He tries to get things away from Avril a lot of the time, but because they're best friends and have so many mutual fans, it's hard to do so.

He's faced a lot of struggles trying to get famous, and I know people are angry about how long his career has been in the making, but it's not his fault.

He does a lot for his fans and I think it's great. He's shown me and plenty of other Bandaiders what it truly means to do things for your fans. Like his weekly UStream chats. He doesn't have to do those, but he does it for his fans. Or when he goes in his chatroom on his website. Or giving away free stuff. Or the Soda Sunday blogs. Or even updating his twitter. Giving away his music for free too. He really is there for his fans. I can maybe see why you'd think that could be classified as arrogance, but I don't see it that way at all.

For instance, today he's having a UStream chat to ask fans what they think of Starbucks Girl and to talk about whether it's going to be included on his album or not. Pretty cool.
