I don't see anything wrong with trying to get noticed. I think most artists want an audience to sing to, and that's what he's doing.

I like Evan but now that i think about it, would anybody really know him if he was never with Avril.Cause I prob. wouldn't

Yeah Adam, but he is trying to get noticed- not for an audience, but for fame

personally i like him alot. you can tell he appreciates his fans alot and seems genuine and listens to what his fans have to say. his music? i have no problem with it, he writes alot of it and stuff. he said something once like "i'd rather play my own music infront of 10 people than play someone else's music infront of 5000."

Evan was in a band called Spinfire before he met Avril. The few songs they came out with were really good and it was alternative ROCK, not pop. His voice was deeper and he didn't sing in that high-pitched way he does now. I think he needs to go back to those roots if he really wants to get noticed and hear his music playing on the radio, but what the hell do I know? And as far as his personality goes, I think he's a very kind and genuine guy. He seems to appreciates what he has in his life. I think it's silly to even suggest that he's arrogant in any way.

^ I didn't know he was in Spinfire I like one of their songs. Wow then he sounds much different now.

REALLY?He is humble and not cocky at all![]()

Evan doesn't wanna be that famous. He'd of course like a Grammy and more, but he just wants to write his music, sing it to his 'friends' and be rich.
He wants to simply take over the world (as he says) LOL
I don't think he wants to be famous... everything else, probably... but why not?
He has the ability....

I don't think its a bad thing, but hes lost touch of reality.

I think he's still really grounded, but I can see why you wouldn't think he is.
Like with the whole "Starbucks Girl" thing...his fans told him it was a horrible song. Even me. He came into a chat room at midnight with 30ish people (including me) and heard our thoughts. Then, the following week, he decided he wasn't going to include it on the album because his fans didn't want it.
He's going to put a song, which he already leaked for free (and got in huge trouble for it), back on the album.
Pretty neat![]()

I might change my thoughts on him but for right now I dont really like him
