Yeah, I mean that's fair. I think you'll like his album when it comes out. From what he's released, it's really good.
Have you heard "Pumpkin Pie" ? Really good song, and it's Avril's favorite![]()

That Evan's Way song he played on the last Ustream sounded very good...he needs to play songs on piano more often![]()

Oh yeah LOL he never remembers them...that co-chat he started doing lately on Ustream is totally weird
...Especially the last one when this creepy boy or girl came out.But he was fast to remove her from screen LMAO!! that was funny

LMAO ! that was hilarious![]()

i like evan![]()

Late to the conversation but I wanted to voice my opinion about this.
I like Evan but not as much as I did before. For me personally, I think his music has gone down hill or my musical tastes have changed but I'm pretty sure it's the first one. And even though I'm not as big of a fan I gotta stand up to him.
1. COCKY. Sure Evan is cocky. You better be if you are in this industry. There is NO WAY in hell you'd make it in the music industry if you didn't think you were the best. It's so competitive that the best only survive. And to me, I honestly think Evan does think he's the best, who can blame him? He may come off as full of it in a lot of the things he says but to understand his statements, you'd have to understand his humor.
2. RELEASE THE ALBUM ALREADY. If you guys haven't noticed, Evan is signed onto a MAJOR record label. The music industry has changed completely, no longer is artist "creativity" valued. CEO's of labels don't give a damn about "good" music, all they want is the "IT" song that will make them $$$$$. If anybody wanted his album out it would Evan. Imagine the fans' impatience with the album release, times it by 100 and you have Evan's impatiences. I mean he's even said if it were up to him, his album would be out and for free right now. It's not his decision when the album is released, it's the record labels. Avril is probably on the same boat too. To get a better understanding of the music industry watch the documentary "Strong Enough to Break" by Hanson. Yes I said Hanson. Yes they do exist. You can download it for free on itunes. They give such a wonderful view into the music industry now. The boys fought four years to get their album out. They wrote 70+ songs and yet the company didn't care and only wanted the "IT" song.
3. USING AVRIL FOR FAME. As others have said, how can Evan avoid it? Every interview he gets asks him about her. Should he be a brat and say "I don't want to talk about her. She has nothing to do with my music career." Come on now. She's his bestfriend. He's going to promote her when he can as I believe Avril would too if she were given the chance. I don't think anyone can question their friendship because it's clearly seen already.
4. STARBUCKS GIRL. Yes, I too think this song was a huge joke. BUT Evan is a guy in love. His girl works at Starbucks. He wrote this song when he met her and knew she was the "one". This song is all about infatuation and IMO he only wanted to add this song in the album because of her.

I haven't heard too much of his stuff, only "Cheater of the Year," "Boy Meets Girl," and "Starbuck's Girl." The last one there was a bit odd, but it grew on me. I prefer his other stuff, though, especially BMG.
He seems cool to me.

His music is okay, I find it a little boring but it's matter of taste and opinion. If I actually like him? Meh, I don't know. He's okay I guess..
I do want to feel something you'd call real
but I don't think that I've got time for these scars to heal...
