she doesnt deserve it, she's just 23 or so and already in jail, i feel bad for her, she was (and still is) my favorite actress, i have nothing to say about the fact that her sentence got reduced but i think it has something to do with the fact that she's famous and has money

it has absolutely NOTHING to do with her being famous and having money. It's how the justice system works in the United States, and probably everywhere else. If jails and prisons are overcrowded, they're going to reduce the sentences of less-threatening prisoners, aka Lindsay Lohan.

Let me explain why the To view the link you have to Register of Los Angeles County does not dare give celebrities special treatment. It's quite simple really. It would be political suicide. He is an elected official. His job depends mostly on the votes of the common people. The population of LA County is about the same as that of the country of Sweden. Not everybody there is rich or famous. If he were to give special treatment to any select group of people, he would be voted out of office. Our country can be criticized for many things but, we cannot generally be faulted with respect to availability of public records. If the Sheriff's Department were to give celebrities any special treatment, the political opponents in the media would make that fact well known to the general public. And I assure you, information regarding jailed celebrities is readily available to the media. Just to give you an idea of how open public records are here, check out To view the link you have to Register from the Sheriff's web site.

I know what Lindsay Lohan did was wrong, and she could have gotten more help than she did, but I must admit, I wish they didn't make her go to jail It's probably for the best, but I completely get where she's coming from - sometimes you just need to do things, even if the law doesn't agree with it.
In my eyes, Lindsay is still the little, innocent girl from Parent Trap who was trying her best to become her own, independent person. LiLo (Lindsay) has obviously gone through a lot, been pushed into the whole celebrity business, and has had to put up with a bunch of poop from her parents. Although she could have done more to stay away from her parents, in particular her mother, I still feel that if anyone is going to be 'blamed' for her going to jail, it shouldn't be her.

It's true about the jails that they are overcrowded therefore people's sentences are being reduced. However, a lot of the laws that people break are stupid and therefore get sent to prison for like 3 years. That's why the prisons and jails are overcorwded. Stupid laws such as possession, people get sent to prison for having a "usable" amount of marijuana in their pocket. STUPID. It's one thing if they have like a pound but a "usable" amount.....ridiculous. (I don't smoke marijuana and I still think it's ridiculous)

Also, I'm osrry to say but the justice system do in a lot of cases do racial profile people. If a white person and a black person were to be at the scene of a crime which both have not committed, the black person would probably be accused of doing the crime moreover the white person. It's very sad but true. The justice system will keep a black in jail over a white because blacks do more crime than white. And I'm sorry if that offends anyone but it's very true. I'm not trying to be racist whatsoever. If it helps...my best friend is black and she will tell you the same exact thing.
