Avril recently spent a few days in New York after she was invited to attend the Clinton Global Initiative. Today, she decided to post about her thoughts and share some of the different things she heard in the conference like the importance of education, the struggles of being a female in different parts of the world as well as updates on Haiti since the horrible earthquake they endured a few months ago, just to name a few. She wrote about her growing interest in widening her knowledge, saying "I just thought it would be a good chance for me to learn so I was really excited to be invited to go...
