We should also remember that Avril worked with Alex Da Kid during the GL wait.. and those songs didn't make the album, so perhaps these extra songs won't either

i hope EPIC will never ever allow Avril to put on any album songs written in totally different moods. you know, What The Hell vs Wish You Were Here...
i'd love to hear that 5th album is mainly produced by the same person/people. i don't know why, maybe it won't be good...
and i don't get why Avril does not want to release any Alex Da Kid's song as charity song, raising money for the Avril Lavigne Foundation?

Waiting for new albums from my idols is terrible . Miley Cyrus hasn't released anything for more than 2 years except that Morning Sun ft. Rock Mafia , Ke$ha hasn't told fans about the new single yet , Katy Perry has re-released TD with Wide Awake - my least favourite song of the album and Avril Lavigne hasn't tweeted to us lately
And my school year starts next month

K$'s album is done. According to ATRL they have single and album news sometime this month, and she already shot the photoshoot. K$ even tweeted it

from what I've read Xtina's album is very soon to come to, around the time of The Voice

And I don't know if Gaga announcing the title of her album means new music this year or not

P!nk, Xtina, Ke$ha, Taylor, and maybe Gaga.

Looks like we'll be getting other female pop artists' new work before we get Avril's.

This is what i say, she doesn't pormote herself with interviews, shoots.. i would love to read some interviews like the ones of EW and Rolling Stone of 2009 when she talked about the album, the tour..that will create HYPE.

Sometimes I wish Avril were a bit more (over)exposed. It would prevent her fans from guessing the real status of her music projects.

Avril stopped talking about 5th album. she stopped talking about 'goodbye lullaby' when things were getting complicated. once again - she stopped talking to us. i hate when she stops talking to us and we have to get scraps of information from various sources.

I certainly hope that fans won't stop liking her because she's so tight-lipped. I heard that that had happened during the pre-GL era, where she didn't give any info and some fans gave up on her.

I'd hate to see that happen to her again.

As stated before, I'd rather have an amazing new album coming out at the end of the year or next year, than a rushed album in two months. Either way, I'll be excited for new songs! Mainly because I don't really care what kind of music will be on it, for GL I really hoped for acoustic, slow songs and it came true (at least for half the album). But now I'd love either more slow songs, or up-tempo songs, or heavier songs, it doesn't really matter to me. As long as they're good and I will be listening to them all my life.

But if she'll be doing a duet (with for exemple Chad Kroeger) I really hope he will be good.. I mostly don't like duets (except with Evan, the bridge on Push was amazing).

They are, so I don't want the new album to be rushed to ruin it all. I want it to be worthy of Avril and if that means she has to take her time than so be it

I think she will get a new hair for blonde, black, pink, green for her new album, new songs, new hair and new clothes so i cant wait for new album of this year or next year... Mmm that so awesome anyway she is so different now so before she was young in 2002! Whoa!
