That's right Bandaids, the Avril Bandaids Awards 2011 are officially here! This is our 6th annual awards show, and we're totally excited to get it started all over again

So what are the ABAs? The Avril Bandaids Awards are like any other awards show, where YOU, and only you, get to nominate and vote for who takes home each and every award (we won't be naming names of others who don't follow this same rule ).

The ABAs are a time for us as a community to celebrate the amazing work we've all put into Bandaids over the past year. We've got an amazing 38 awards in this year's show; some are old favourites, and some brand new additions to the list. Some are simply plain bonkers! But it wouldn't be the ABAs without a few totally bizarre awards to give out!

Remember, the ABAs are totally for you guys to have fun!


So how do the ABAs work?

Very shortly, a thread will be created for each individual award for you to make your Nominations. You can nominate 2 Bandaids members for each award. Please try to use their username not personal name.

After 1 week of nominations, a new Voting thread will be created for each award with a poll for you to vote for your winner.

After 1 more week of voting, a new Winner thread will be created announcing your winner of each award. The member with the most votes from the polls will win the award.

Each winner will also receive a lovely new signature, created by our Cuupcake!


The nominations threads will open on Saturday 9th July.

We've also got some fabulous other threads to get involved in, including the renowned Red Carpet thread! Make sure you check it out, and dress up!

i know i am a new member i don't know much about Avril Bandaids Awards and that's why i would like to ask this.. when will we learn the winners.?? cause i will go to a summer camp tomorrow and i will come back on 1st of August.. xD please someone answer!!
