What I meant that Won't Let You Go is better than GL is about the production of it and the feeling that the song gives you.

I only can compare Won't Let You Go.. probably with Wish You Were Here, that's also very good.

But I think if you list all songs of GL, I think there's not one that can be better as Won't Let You Go.

Won't Let You Go is like... a classic and supreme.

Like everybody else said, you can't really say that 1 song is better than an entire album. If it were to be on GL I'd replace "4 Real" with it because I really dislike that song but the production on WLYG is very weak and it's not as acoustic as the other tracks, so I don't think it would really fit anyway.

I think this song would fit in the GL album ...can't say it's a better song compare to all the song on GL album , it's a good song , an heartfelt ballad ....

I don't think WLYG is better than GL, but I did insert WLYG into the GL album on my ipod as song #9. I do think WLYG delivers that classic Avril be strong, supportive message better than that of the other GL songs.

EH, RW, and Goodbye, and maybe others, are, for me, a bit better overall. Gave those and WLYG all 5 star ipod ratings for different reasons.

WTH and Smile are the only songs from GL I like less than WLYG. And around the same level, WYWH and I Love You. The rest of the album is much better, due to different reasons. WLYG is a songs made for a soundtrack and probaby it's not very personal, while songs like Everybody Hurts, Darlin, Not Enough or Remember When (just saying my faves ) are very personal and heartfelt.

WLYG would be a filler track, at best. Gone seems to be amazing, Complete Me seems to be really good too, and we also have Fine and some others who didn't make the album because we-all-know-what. Probably it would still be the "worse" track and it could have been used as b-side, as it should happened for TBDT.

I think some people is overrating this song just because the anticipation for it. Just like what happens/ed with Daydream.
