It might do more harm than good if people ignore the instructions to use it only once per day, per station. If people spam stations with 100 requests a day then all those requests will probably be ignored. If there is a way to control how many times people use it per day and enforce it, then it might work.

I agree! For example, Lady Gaga has 800 requests, Avril has 2000. That looks fishy, and they will think it's some user spamming the station to get Avril's song played. Now for example if it was Lady Gaga at 800 requests and Avril at 1000, they will likely play Avril's song. Thats actually why I think thats ONE of the reasons MuchMusic didn't give the award to Avril at the MMVA's since they probably saw extremely high numbers, which led them to think its spam.

Competition

I think we should start requesting when WYWH appears on allaccess.com in future releases. That's always the time when radios start to play songs (I know it for sure). Lots of radios add songs even before adds date.

btw if u used the old WTH-o-matic to create WYWH-o-matic, I notice u that u should remove some old stations that don't exist anymore, remove some Rhytmic and Urban stations that were there mistakenly, and add new stations that were added to mediabase panel (for example WPOI-FM).
The updated list of the current stations in mediabase panel is in my spreadsheet ( To view the link you have to Register ). I updated list of Hot AC stations according to mediabase panel just yesterday. Pop stations list was correct already in Smile spreadsheet.

^ For the vote-o-matic, replace the urban stations with the Hot AC stations. ALL of the Hot AC and Pop stations NEED to be on the vote-o-matic!

I know what I'm talkin about...For example Rihanna's Cheers' adds date was 8/2 and it got more than 50 adds one week before that day.
Nicki Minaj's "Fly" adds date is according to allaccess on August 30 and the day it appeared on allaccess, some stations started to spin it and some even added it.
