How can i meet Avril thanks to AvrilBandaids ?

During the best damn tour i missed VIP packages and i was very disappointed not to be able to meet her.

I saw that there are some groups of AvrilBandaids fans who can meet her regularly in each country where she performs (like Sharifa etc.). Somebody can tell me if a French group of AvrilBandaids exists and if it can meet her Avril next tour ?

This question is for Sharifa and all members of Avrilbandaids staff.

Bandaids unfortunately doesn't have the ability to set up meet and greets for fans in every country when Avril is on tour! That's unfortunately not something the management has allowed us to do - though I wish we could

This tour, Avril's management made the decision to keep fan Meet & Greets off Avril's schedule.

Occasionally, we get the chance to have staff members from the site go to meet Avril for specific purposes, but we can't make those meets available to the public for security reasons.

However, in some circumstances, Bandaids has been able to help fans meet Avril at special events . For example, we were given 30 passes to Avril's Boathouse even in Toronto in 2009, 60 passes to Avril's fashion show in NYC in 2009, and in March 2011, 40+ members of the site were able to meet Avril at a bunch of different evens in NYC when her album was released!

No guarantees, but we're hoping to be able to do more of these sorts of events down the road and to do them in more places around the world! When those events happen, we will definitely post about them on the site and make sure as many fans as possible have the chance to attend!

But in the interest of fairness, you should know we always to try give priority to the most active members on Bandaids.

I'm a great French fan of Avril and i have a job which doesn't give me a lot of time to be very active on Bandaids but i can use every effort on it to meet Avril one day particularly in France (Paris) if she comes for different interviews or shows.

I hope that you'll manage to organize a meet with Avril soon in France but we'll be inform in which part of forum ?

In other part i hope she'll make meet and greet next tour after her fifth album !

We actually didn't have anything to do with Francesca, Alice and Charlotte getting into the NRJ performance! They went to the radio station and begged NRJ to get in from what I understand .

Though Francesca did mention she knew someone else who had been given two tickets for the interview so NRJ must give them out somehow! Best bet is to try and contact the radio station when that stuff happens and plead your case .

If we ever get the chance to give away tickets to meet Avril, we generally make a big splash about it! We will definitely post it on the main page of Bandaids and on our Twitter or Facebook profiles!

In Toronto, when we met Avril, we had two non-staff members meet Avril. During the Today Show in New York, many non-staff members got to meet Avril. It's not only staff who get privelages through Bandaids!

I don't know if you read my review but i just went to the radio station since 8 am in the morning and begged.
I tried to send them 3 emails but i didn't get any answers so as I was in Paris only for Avril i thought it was a good idea to try, and it is definitely worth it.
They didn't want us to enter at first, because just 20/30 people on a list were allowed to enter originally.. at the last minute they told us we could enter, but we had to wait like for 4 hours without being sure to be in

When we have special events such as the Abbey Dawn Fashion Show, the Boathouse Launch, or the Today Show Flash Mob in NYC, they're open to all members to enter for tickets using whatever mechanism we choose to give away the tickets .

Members need to understand that if/when Sharifa gets a chance to meet Avril, she cannot open it up to everyone. It just would not be possible. And people randomly coming up to her and desperately trying to get access to Avril is kind of disrespectful imo. As Sharifa mentioned Bandaids has many public events that she organizes herself for the members free of charge. The backlash she got recently and the sly bit in this thread is just wrong as she tries so hard. Anyway, I just find it outstanding the amount of people coming online randomly and asking for free meets. Stay active, contribute to the site and be loyal and you will see the chances as Sharifa stated above (Boathouse, abbey dawn fashion event) being more open and accessible to you. Look at members like Aren etc. who has been a loyal member for years. He has met Avril several times now at these types of events!
