You never know, maybe the album's almost finished and she just has to do minor things to it, or maybe she's still writing songs and taking her time. Either way, she's alredy said a few times before that it's gonna come out "sooner than expected", so I doubt that it's going to be realesed by the Fall, and even if it was, I think that's a relatively short period of time between albums, less than two years, and we would be about one year away from it.

Hearing the words "I'll start the fifth album in January" from Avril herself is so damn exciting . If she's already got a few songs it should be a shorter process, so I'm guessing later summer/fall 2012! My excitement just tripled (didn't know that was possible!). Record's don't have a set time, but Under My Skin and TBDT, Avril was only in the studio about 3 -4 months! Let Go and GL were different because of label difficulties. AHHHHH! SO EXCITING!

I think there will be some changers. remember when Avril said that the next album will be more upbeat and pop?

But also, she knows that the radio refuse to play her 2nd single Smile because they don't want an upbeat song for her.

Yeah the album will have an upbeat pop song, but like what i said, she knows how the radio don't want to play an upbeat song for her, so there might be some changes for the theme of the album.

I am glad that this disastrous GL era will be over soon. having a 4th single will be very useless, knowing that there's been a lot of mistake and damage it did is irreparable GL's potential is not showed ( yeah FUCK YOU RCA ) but yeah.

I'll just pretend this era did not happened at all. but I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT ALBUM!!!
