Saffy and I had been discussing the First Time for a while, so when my foster family went away for the weekend, it seemed like a perfect opportunity. And when she invited herself over, it was obvious to the both of us that we weren't going to have a movie night.
She let herself into my parents bedroom, where we would spend the night. Before I could even say hello, she ran to me and we started an intense tongue fest. I came closer and leaned in to kiss her. Saffy pulled me down, smashed her lips to mine and threw her handsaround my neck. Again, our mouths were as close as you can get, yet I hungered for more. I let my body relax on top of hers, letting my body slide into the space she created for me by spreading her legs. We fit like a jigsaw, tongue in mouth, hand in bra, legs in legs. "Saffy? Are you hurt?"
"What do you mean?"
"There's blood on the sheets."
"Well yeah." She sits up. "That was my first time. You knew that."
"You never told me there would be blood. Are you sure there's nothing wrong with you? You will live, right?"
"Storm. I'm fine. There was a little bit of blood, that's all."
"Why?"
"Storm, when a girl loses her virginity, something inside her is torn. And when it gets torn, there can be blood. That's why there's blood on the sheets."
