Ok, this is my first thread so no mean comments please.

Chapter 1
Bliss

Wings. The first thing I remember hearing was the sound of wings, thousands of them. They were all around me. They sounded beautiful, like the voices of a thousand tiny angels whispering in unison. The sounds all blended together into some kind of unearthly melody. The sound became louder, and my surroundings began to sparkle. It was almost as if little diamonds had been set in all the rocks and trees. As my eyes began to adjust to the new found brilliance of my surroundings, a figure started to emerge from the the river beside me. White rose petals began to descend from the sky like snow, covering the ground in a thin satin blanket as he walked toward me. I could could hear my heart beating furiously in my chest, but I didn't know why. I mean, sure he was attractive, but I didn't even know the guy, right? Something about him was familiar. Maybe it was his eyes, so deep and knowing, they"d probably seem familiar to anyone. As he got closer, I could hear his heartbeat too. I could feel my feet starting to slip out from underneath me. He then somehow managed to catch me before I hit the ground. The last thing I remember seeing were his beautiful eyes, then everything went dark.

When I awoke, I was still surrounded by darkness. Slowly, my eyes began to adjust, the dim light seeping through the cracks in my blinds revealing the vague contours of my bedroom. My heart was still racing. It was just a dream, so why did it seem so real? "No, I cant start questioning the fabric of my existence now! It's only 6:00am! And it's a weekday, I need to get up." I say out loud to myself sounding somewhat ridiculous. I know it was foolish, but a part of me just wanted to let myself fall again to see if the mystery boy would catch me. I had a feeling that if I had stayed asleep, so much more could have happened. But it was only a dream. I checked my clock again, it read 6:15. Time to get up.

Although she hasn't told me much but I think she is just righting a story for the hell of it and that she might not include stuff like that.... But I could be wrong

Sorry I've decided to actually post on both Monday's and Friday's because I finished the chapter early. YAY! You're welcome. Oh, and BTW, at the top of each post just under where it says the number of the chapter, There will be a name , either Bliss or River, they're the main characters. The name that it says is the point of view that the chapter is written from. Just so you know.

Chapter 2
RIVER
Every night, when I go to sleep, I end up here. I don't know where "here" is exactly, but I kind of like it. I've been coming here for about a year now, ever since I was 16. This time, the first thing I remember was swimming in a sparkly blue river. Everything around me looked like it was covered in diamonds, just like it usually did. This time, however, white rose petals were falling from the sky. That meant that we had a new arrival. Only a select few people were able to come here, the really special ones, like me. We're all perfect, in a damaged sort of way, that's what makes us beautiful. Anyways, I decided to go see who the newbie was. I wasn't prepared for what I saw. She was so beautiful, I was absolutely overwhelmed by her beauty. Her blue- green eyes shimmered, reflecting the light from the diamonds surrounding her. Her strawberry blonde hair fell in perfect, endless curls all around her. And her wings, sheer lilac coloured wings with little sparkles scattered on them like stars. She was wearing a short purple dress with large, dramatic rhinestones covering the bust and a big lilac coloured ribbon tied in a big, beautiful bow at the back, complementing her wings nicely. She was in awe of her surroundings, dancing across the grass in her bare feet, completely filled with joy. She stopped when she noticed me watching her. I began to walk towards her. She began to sway, looking a little strange. Then, her feet slipped, and I rushed to catch her. She looked up at me with those big, beautiful eyes, and then fainted. I set her down on the grass, looked up at the stars, and everything went dark.

I woke up in a beam of light that was cast over my bed from the open window behind me. Up untill a year ago, I always woke up in the dark, trying to shut out the world. Now I know that the world was always there anyways. I stayed in bed for a moment, just thinking about the girl I met in the dream world. Many of the people that I meet there show up in real life, I'll just see them standing on a street corner or through a window, sitting in a cafe drinking coffee. I was hoping that maybe, just maybe, I might meet the mystery girl. Well, I'd better get up. Wouldn't want to miss my first day at a new school, now would I?
