Bad Singles Choices Thread

I know all of you have one single choice that you disagree with. Mine are Hot and The Best Damn Thing. When You're Gone was a hit, but why would you release an un-radio friendly song like Hot as a single?

You can post as many as you want, but just don't bash Avril... bash RCA!

The Goodbye Lullaby single choices could've been better. None of the singles TRULY represents GL. WYWH, pffft. A real highlight of the album would be Not Enough or Remember When. But it's true, they couldn't release that as a single though.

I question putting Don't Tell Me out first for UMS.

Losing Grip was never going to happen, though there was nothing else amazing on the album that could have gotten top five, but maybe Mobile could have got like #15 or something. Still I don't care because Losing Grip is my second favourite Avril song and it meant it got a video.


I don't really know about tbdt. Definitely gf and wyg were good choices. Hot and tbdt flopped but I don't see any other song on the album doing much better anyway. I guess they were the right choices.

What? I would have thought that you liked everything to do with WYWH! (Because of your username), but I think WYWH was the right choice, but just released at the wrong time. Push (released as first single) would have gone to maybe 15 on Hot 100, Then WTH would have come as second and would have gone to 12. After that, WYWH probably would have gone to 8 released as the third single. By the way, it's all about promotion. If Avril would have gotten promotion for her singles, it wouldn't have mattered what she would have released.
