Basically. I took it as a relationship that wasn't working for either of them. Avril dolling up was her way of trying to hang on to it, hoping that she could hold on to him through that, if nothing else.

Lisa doesn't like it, as usual. She likes nothing though, so no issues there.

At the start she's leaving her house with suitcases... Deryck's house. She's dressed up, looking perfect. She covers up, tries to be strong, especially since she's in the public eye. She does random shit, drinks, shaves, sunbathes, is in total denial about being broke up. Eventually she starts to miss him. She tries ring him but no answer. She waits for him to call, or to come for her. Perhaps she left a voice message. Eventually it hits her, her marriage is over. She locks her door and falls to the floor slowly. She stops the act. It's over, she needs to face herself and admit that her marraige is over. She takes off the wig, ruins her make-up etc. She looks at herself for real for the first time and is devastated.

Way off.. It is not a House, it is an Elevator.

She is entering a Hotel.

I got two different stories about this video. (I heard a good one about Avril being tired of her famous life.)

here i go, the simplest, and what i think was the idea from Avril and Liddell.

Sophisticated Avril is an "independent" woman, with a busy schedule, who has a hectic relationship with her man, he is a busy man too, she talked to him on the phone, and they made a date to see each other in a Hotel on Paris, they don't live there, they keep flying across the country because of their hectic work. they love each other, but they haven't seen in a while, and they just have that day to see each other, and then they have to return to their busy works.

The video represents that date (or maybe those dates), she get off from the Elevator, she goes to their booked suite (Nº 64 right?), you can see she is tired, of her life, of her boring relationship, so she gets an idea, a last resort to spice and light up the relationship, a surprise for her man (If you know what i mean), she search for her best lingerie, her best make up, she keeps the wig she uses in her work to look even better, she search a good wine, she uses her best fragance, then, she waits, and waits, then tries to call her man, he doesn't answer, she waits, she waits (maybe it wasn't just a night, maybe it was different dates where she got stood up, and waited and waited.) at the end she cracks, she realize he doesn't appreciate her enough, so she gets sad, then she feels stupid all glammed up, she takes off her wig, she gets real, she gets mad, and walks out undone, naked, and alone.

My second interpretation, this one is more like, my twist, but it fits

But i won't make it as detailed as the first choice.

It is the same Sophisticated Avril, but instead of having a date with her man (that doesn't appreciate her), she made a date with another man that was nice, and treated her well, and was always there. They plan on cheating (Like the couple on Psychosis) in a hotel room. (That's where cheating usually happens.)

She does the same as the other story, and the OTHER guy doesn't show up, and she realize she is a slut, and she got stood up by the other man, making her feel pretty sad and angry, and she walks out undone, naked, and alone.

Those are my interpretations.
