Fat chance of that. In any case it's not like all of them will suddenly just convert back to being Black Stars.Originally Posted by avrilxxx15 To view the link you have to Register
I personally don't want them back.Pop music to me is about being open-minded, not pretentious.

If people disliked Avril just for her music, we wouldn't hear comments like, "She's so immature!" "She thinks she's so punk but she's not!" "She's a sellout for having a clothing line and perfumes!"
"I glorify weirdness."

There will always be "those people"...they've been around since 2002 regarding Avril. They exist for every artist.Originally Posted by BogoGog24 To view the link you have to Register

^ Yeah I know, I was responding to HBK's post about how he thinks people only dislike Avril based on what they hear from her on the radio. But if that were true, like I said, we wouldn't hear the comments that regard things outside of her music.

@jululps, @jacklavigne, It's funny, i typed Avril in the search on twitter, and their name appeared, saying that those who need musical director are lame musicians, WTF?? Even the likes of Metallica have and hire musical directors

I'm sorry. But after rereading this post, I feel the need to bring something up.Originally Posted by Sinister To view the link you have to Register
I've been amongst P!nk fans, and they'll spit in your face if you mention P!nk in the same sentence as Avril or Ke$ha. P!nk fans see P!nk as 100% genuine, not needing a gimmick or a marketing ploy to sell her music. They say that P!nk "has the songwriting skills of Taylor, and the vocal prowess of Kelly and Adele". They will also say that P!nk comes up with more meaningful songs and more brilliant lyrics than most female artists do.
This is P!nk's claim to fame-
As it relates to Avril, P!nk fans would argue that Avril is a "sellout" and a "hypocrite". Thus, P!nk fans feel vindicated in thinking that “P!nk is the only one left that rebels against the pop tart world”.Stupid Girls and Raise Your Glass are probably the most important songs of the past decade in terms of the message. It made many girls think about issues of popularity, authenticity, etc.
The fact is that, Pink is pretty much the only popular female artist today that at least gives an attempt at writing social commentaries. Pink took on a hard task to make some songs with serious message Top 40 hits. Avril fans should give her the props for attempting it.
How would you guys respond to that?
On a personal note, back in 2001, P!nk went on and on about how she's so much different from Britney. Yet, she hooked up with Max Martin and Dr. Luke. P!nk NEVER got labeled a "sellout" for doing that. In contrast, Avril did in a major way.

^ Pink on the same vocal level as Kelly and Adele? You've got to be kidding!![]()

P!nk on the same songwriting level as Taylor? Does P!nk even write her own songs?
Forget your high society, I'm soakin' it in Kerosene. Light 'em up and watch them burn, teach 'em what they need to learn. HA! .
