Avril Bandaids Forum Rules

1. Staff require a certain amount of cooperation from members to efficiently run a successful forum. Intended lack of cooperation is prohibited, and is not tolerated.

2. Posts containing explicit sexual substance is not in any circumstance allowed. We have numerous younger members on the forum. Any post(s) containing explicit sexual material will be deleted, and the poster will be dealt with accordingly.

3. Constant spamming of a thread or forum will not be accepted. Purposely attempting to disrupt the flow of the forum will result in staff taking authorative action.

4. Disrespecting or insulting another member is against our site policy. Respect and courtesy should be shown towards all members. Staff will judge certain situations to the best of their ability when they are concerned that a member or user is being disrespected or insulted.

5. Racist or prejudiced comments are absolutely not tolerated. Serious action may be taken against members if they choose to ignore this policy.

6. Comments intended to maliciously attack Avril Lavigne (or any other chosen forum artist), to the extent where members begin to feel uncomfortable, will be dealt with in a manner chosen by the staff team. Although we completely agree with freedom of opinion, negative or positive, we do not take kindly to blatant attacks on Avril (or any other chosen forum artist).

7. Blatantly malicious comments towards any relations to Avril Lavigne (or any other chosen forum artist) are not permitted and will be dealt with accordingly by the Bandaids staff.

8. Any comment(s) that may be viewed as aggressive, insulting or harmful to any member of the Bandaids community will result in a sanction being imposed against the offending member.

9. Do not upload unauthorized copyrighted or otherwise illegal audio or video using the attachment feature, or provide direct download links to such materials. Direct download links include links to sites such as Mediafire.com, Rapidshare.com, etc. Don't post requests for such links. These posts will be removed. Links to streaming sites (YouTube, Soundcloud, etc.) are permitted.

10. Bumping old threads often results in confusion and annoyance among members. Do not bump an old thread in the main Avril Lavigne forums (The Black Star Lounge, Avril Lavigne Media, and Avril Lavigne Articles) unless you have substantial and relevant new information to add to it. Offending posts (and subsequent replies from other members) will be deleted.

11. If your account is suspended or banned, you are not allowed to re-register. The Bandaids staff has many ways of detecting duplicate accounts; we will find out and those accounts will be banned permanently.

Additional Notes:
- Just because something is not listed above does not mean it's okay. Any disruptive or malicious activity will be dealt with by the staff.
- These rules apply to all areas of the site, including vistor messages and private messages.
- Violations may result in a warning or an infraction. Accumulating 5 active infraction points will result in an automatic temporary suspension of your account.
- Just because someone else breaks the rules does not mean you can do the same in response. If a member insults you or otherwise breaks the rules, report the post and let the staff handle it. "They did it first" isn't an excuse.

This can stay here for a week or two just so members can read it! I reviewed the forum rules and added one extra rule. These are the current standards to which members are expected to adhere to.

Nothing to ruin the fun or anything, just 8 simple steps to ensure everyone stays happy within the community!
