Britney Spears Appreciation Thread

I -I used to not like Britney (the album) that much, but more recently I grew to like it. The only thing I don't like about it is her vocals- they sound terrible. But there's a lot of great songs on it, like Slave, Overprotected, Not A Girl, Cinderella, That's Where You Take Me, etc. Her cover of I Love Rock N' Roll is awful though- it's supposed to be I Love Rock N' Roll, not I Love Pop.

You are not the frist person to say it and i don't understand why. Lonley, Slave Im Not A Girl Not Yet A Woman, Let Me Be, Before The Goodbye, That's Where You Take Me and the last track have beautiful vocals, i can agree with the songs like Cinderella(too second voices) and Bombastic Love. Or maybe it's her way of signing? On some track it's like that she's talking rather than singing,for ex in Boys and Anticipating.

Listen to I Love Rock N' Roll and you'll hear how god-awful she sounds, she sounds like she's being strangled or something. Her voice was just all over the place on this album, going off pitch a lot, sounding like she ran out of breath or something. Compared to the 2 albums before, the vocals stink.

I find it interesting how the media always asked Avril what she thought of Britney but they never asked Britney what she thought about Avril. I'm so curious to know what Britney thought about Avril back then!

I Like Britney . not a very huge fan though . but just love some of her songs like Everytime , Gimme More , Hold it Against me , Hit me Baby One more time and many more

That's why i don't like that cover and i always skip it xD That is her worst cover, Satsfication, Out From Under, You Got It All and The Beat Goes On are much better.
But in general the vocals are good, not flawless like in Baby One More Time(and even In The Zone) but at least you can hear her voice, that's all the matters to me

Yeah that is definitely her worst cover. What's You Got It All? I'm not familiar with that one...
And I agree, at least her voice is less buried by background vocalists on this album.

It's original sung by a dance-pop named The Jets, Britney recorded it for Baby One More Time, but it endend to be only a bonus track for Europe, Australia, NZ, Japan and Latino America, like Girl In The Mirror and Heart.
