The biggest sporting event of the year is here - Euro 2012 (UEFA European Football Championship 2012)

Me and Banz are hosting a prediction based game of this event.

About Euro 2012

The Euro 2012 (UEFA European Football Championship 2012) is the 14th European Championship organised by the UEFA. 51 National teams took part in the qualifiers from which 16 teams qualified for the finals.

The Euro 2012 finals will be held in Poland and Ukraine. Eight cities, 4 each from Poland and Ukraine will host the games.
The tournament will take place from 8th June to 1st July 2012.

About this game:
1) Any Bandaider can participate! Just take a shot, you might win!
2) The main aim of the game is to make the given predictions and earn points.
3) You don’t have to worry about getting evicted from this game, everyone gets to play till the last round.

4) The game takes place in 8 stages:

1. Tournament initial predictions (predictions made: today – 7th June)
2. Group predictions (predictions made: today – 7th June)
3. Matchday 1 Predictions (predictions made: today – 7th June)
4. Matchday 2 Predictions (predictions made: 8th June – 11th June)
5. Matchday 3 Predictions (predictions made: 12th June – 15th June)
6. Quarterfinals predictions (predictions made: 20th June – 21th June)
7. Semifinal predictions (predictions made: 25th June – 27th June)
8. Final predictions (predictions made: 29th June – 1st July)

Old scoring system:

Scoring system for the group stages:
5 points for correct scoreline
2 point for correct result
0 points for incorrect result
Prediction of goalscorers is optional
4 points for every goal scorer correctly predicted
-3 points for every goal scorer wrongly predicted

Those who have not yet entered for the first 5 stages can still enter the competition now
