On the other hand, I think that we must also realize that many Bandaiders do not speak
English as their first language; so, sometime things do not always come across properly;
and that creates frustration and unnecessary misunderstandings.
I have been reading Avrilxxx15's postings for over a year now; and really enjoy and
appreciate his contributions to this fansite. He is basically a nice guy, and we all love
him here...

Wait but in the first post you describe this thread very badly as I remember coming here actually interested in the topic judging by the title but by the end of the opening post felt like it should be closed?
Perhaps keep to the topic, which is what are Avril's advantages in this industry.. if any?
Your opening post relies on describing positivity using a very negative manner.. how did you expect people to react?
I became a fan of her music because it was catchy and easy to sing along to. That has kept up in the last 10 years.
Avril's advantages :
-She used to be different from other pop artists in 2002-2005 (I hope she will be again someday)
-She has a sort of very unique voice (no one could sing songs like "I'm with you" or "My happy ending" better than her, for instance)
-She always sings live (even though producers or TV shows sometimes edit her performances. She used playback only once during a parade so it's great for a 10-year career)
-Even though she has a lot of help co-writing songs (especially for "Let Go"), she seems to have her own vision for an album and she promotes it well (except maybe "GL" for reasons we all are aware of)
-She seems to be very open-minded and doesn't have any extreme political opinions whatoever, which is great as she was like a spokesperson for an entire teenage generation.
-She's very attractive but not the "skanky" attractive kind of girl which is the perfect balance in beauty IMO.
-Although she's sometimes very immature, she remains a funny girl which is always a good thing in life... (I liked her darker image in "UMS" though... But it's good to know she's happy as a woman.
-Her foundation, even though I have some serious doubts about her real involvement in it... The only thing that matters to me is that it does exist and that she invested money to help children with disabilities which is always positive. Who cares if she's honest about it as long as it helps people?
1.She created or re-created a trend, image and sound that the only one who can pull it off is Avril herself which leads to the no.2 advantage, Considering that, we can her a trend setter.
2.She's very hard to be replaced or copied.
avril is perfectly imperfect and that's what i like about her.
she's passionate about her music and to the things she wants to do (like her clothing line).
she's creative and has style different from the other artists that makes her stand out.
i like that she has vision and goals set and works hard to meet them. and she's always involve in making music or in any of her side projects.
she's really beautiful and sexy.
she's a bit naive but she's really funny, and for me, her laugh is contagious.
i think that she's a really good and a very supportive friend (not that i personally know her but that's what you hear from her friends).
i kinda like how she keeps her album a secret before she releases it (although i would really love to hear some details about it).
she's really talented, and her voice is amazing and she sings live.
she's Avril Lavigne!
