But I don't think Avril is copying anyone at all. I do hear people try to copy Avril's music style and lyrics, only so they can make a hit record. But everyone copies everyone who cares..
Avril's next record hopefully will have a hit song for her. I think its interesting that GL was recorded shortly after TBDT tour was over, but never got released until last year. She didn't want the record label to wait as long as they did. Which really means this next album should reflect her real updated sound she wants to have right now. That's assuming they don't wait 2 years to release it.

I have the whole Femme Fatale album and I can honestly say that I Wanna Go is one of the worst tracks off of it. It's auto tuned so much that it's actually annoying to listen to. The music video could have been done wayyyy better. There are much better tracks on FF than this one.
